Presence of neighbourhood markets or big supermarkets. Presence of gas station(s). Presence of clubhouse(s) Presence of open bar/beer parlour. And the houses in the area must show affluence because directly or indirectly, the kind of area you stay will affect you and your family. Availability of pipe-borne water or borehole Light The surrounding areas: Is the house easily accessible from the main road? Are there red zones? etc The compound must not be spacious and no shared balcony. The fewer the flats, the better. The rooms should have at least two windows, no crack or sign of weakness on the wall, POP roofing and neat tiling on the floor. The kitchen must be spacious, well tiled from top to bottom, with neat and strong fittings.
