Hello all,

I noticed so much the modesty on Kate's dressing from head to toe. Everything appear so simple talking about her make-up, jewellery, the wedding gown, e.t.c.

This indeed should be an example to all those nigerian ladies that like painting their faces like masquerades on their wedding day and exposing their dirty breasts for their guests to see.

I hope they learn from her.

personally i prefer this style - classy, simple but elegant. U can actually dress simple and also be sexy.

People can wear what they want so no naija women bashing abeg but I personally prefer simple dressing and natural make up. There is a way of wearing make up that just enhances what God gave you.
Re: Decency In Kate's Wedding Appearance by tpia5: 8:52pm On Apr 29, 2011
Royalty is expected to be elegant.

If they start dressing slutty in such contexts, then that could undermine them. And besides there's a certain standard expected in such situations. You have a lot of VIPs in attendance.

The wedding dress was good. People should pray for them.

The ladies in waiting dresses were also good.

And what was harry whispering to his brother at the beginning of the ceremony?

flaunting wot your mothers gave you or what God gave you?

I don't have to remind you that your body is meant for your hubby alone and not for guests, do I?

You think the royal family would have allowed her to chose an indecent dress for a royal wedding? No way!

Lol, I guess you'd be pleased to hear then, that she opted to do her own make-up herself instead of using a make-up expert (very unheard of in normal weddings not to talk of a royal wedding undecided) I feel she is TOO modest, and besides, she has no bosom to speak of so why would she even think of exposing them? The pointed bodice/bustier was a bit raunchy in any case, drawing attention to her bullet chest grin grin grin. So maybe she isn't as shy and retiring as you'd like to believe tongue

Poster,

How exactly are NIgerian women's bossom exposed under their traditional and wedding attires?

Or do you simply want to take a yab at Nigerian women? You men will forever complain. Empty sets of garawas making the loudest noise.

What exposition of bossom do you see in Yoruba women's attire?

Igbos?

Hausas?

Niger Deltans?

Lol Ileke he's talking about their white wedding gowns. When last have you attended a church wedding in Naija? 50% of brides wear revealing gowns with the tops open and very suggestive. Usually they wear a bolero or a modest jacket to cover it while in church, while some don't even bother cheesy. At the reception, all is bared to the eyes of the male guests grin grin

Na wa oh.

I've yet to see a white Naija wedding on Bella Naija (where most of nigerian wedding pictures are posted) with NIgerian women exposing their oyan in church.

Yeah the bride was wearing an upper laced wedding gown by Sara Burton from Alexander Macquenne household.
Re: Decency In Kate's Wedding Appearance by ObamaUS: 3:42am On May 02, 2011
it's moral bankruptcy and inferiority complex that make ladies wear all those useless and indecent dresses, They all aspire to be like the spoiled white celebrities.

Our mothers in those days would never be seen exposing their TOMATOES but these days, you cant walk 1 minute without seeing enough KILIMANJARO, You mostly see ladies dress and drop the pendant of their chains/necklaces in the middle of the BR.E.A.S.T

Re: Decency In Kate's Wedding Appearance by Nobody: 4:03am On May 02, 2011
Enough's been said about this royal wedding already. If you want to dress like a vixen and end in the lake of sulphur, its a personal choice since God gave every1 the freewill to choose.

I tink its because there was no tag to it saying 'For Women Only'.
Re: Decency In Kate's Wedding Appearance by tpia5: 5:54am On May 02, 2011
the way these men just find every excuse to mention nigerian women in any discussion, makes one wonder what's biting them really.

are they even considering how their foreign flames [whether male or female] feel about this at all?

imagine having sex and the man keeps shouting nigerian women nigerian women.

cooking food and all you hear is nigerian women nigerian women.

walking on the street- nigerian women nigerian women.

does it take a rocket scientist to analyze this issue.
