Why do males in Nigeria suffer from such low confidence? This includes approaching Nigerian women as well.

Men have fought battles, built planes, built the world Nigeria today but seem afraid to approach women that stems from a lack of confidence in themselves.

I am not talking about rich and famous guys but the normal everyday man in Nigeria.

There is something in this society that instills a fear of women in males.

What is it because it's not natural.

I have my own answers, I want to hear yours

It's bad, very bad.

And it's getting worse for the younger males coming up. Woman worship hasn't even peaked in Nigeria yet, but soon it will.

with the rate at which all girls are getting *disvirgined* --- u're really going to sit there and type *low confidence* ----- I think there should be a correlation. If Naija men have *low-confidence,* then majority of naija babes should be virgins.

I think is lack of money, Nigerian girls need ask for money like crazy and since guys are broke, you just stay clear of ladies with recharged card story and this explain low confidence

I've seen some self-sufficient men that have low confidence. I think it has alot to do with what type features women are attracted to. Also, it doesn't help if you can't sing, dance, or if you're not funny.

what I think is that Naija men are generally too aggressive. sexual harassment isn't pretty so I would take this news to be a welcome development.

I seem to like older sexy women , they just seem like they'd be more willing to experiment,

That very important for me, most of this young girls, want normal sex, you know , misionry, doggy , BJ,

Ever banged your friends 32 year old single aunty,

Back to the confidence thing, its not the men, its the culture, we have so accepted western culture , and its affecting our men.

Another would be your relationship with ur mom and sis, believe it or not, it affect the masculine image

You know why businessmen and politician get more girls even if they cant get it up without viagra, RISK Evaluation

The Western influence is another big one. Kudos for bringing that up. Alot of Naijas are not proud of their African heritage cuz its being looked down upon by Western society, and ridiculed even mores by our diasporan black counterparts.

Re: Epidemic Of Low Confidence In Nigerian Males by ektbear: 5:15pm On Apr 30, 2011
If your friend is suffering from low confidence, pour a little liquor in 'em  grin

That will boost their spirits and make them more likely to approach women smiley
Re: Epidemic Of Low Confidence In Nigerian Males by kobikwelu(m): 6:36pm On Apr 30, 2011
any matured man you see with low confidence (LSE-low self esteem) its cos he has no money, or he feels that he cannot meet the lady's needs.

but if its about high school kids, then any guy lacking confidence to approach a woman is just normal, boys at puberty tend to view girls as aliens and as such dont know how to go abt it

summary,

if you are above 26,have a good job, live on your own, and prolly have a car  and you dont know how to approach a lady , then uve gat issues
