I see no reason why the electronic option shouldn't still be used at least to serve as a checkmate against the manual result. Once the devices get to network areas, they will automatically be able to upload/send result to server. Let it be used as a back up or checkmate against the manual result and they can easily compare results. Using a data of 2018 to reject an event to happen in 2023 appears to me as an insincere way of ensuring that the status quo is maintained. We don't care if you extremists, riggers and saboteurs don't have adequate network coverage. We need to encourage INEC to give us free and fair elections so that the country can move forward. INEC should decide in their modalities what to do if network coverage is not adequate in a particular locality.
