@: the_telz. to be sincere with u dat weighted score cannot enta 4 electrical/electronics engineering. u will have to change the course wen the change of course comes out. but u will get the post ume form first as soon as it comes out.

@Taiwohmo .they are both qualified for the post ume screening.their results is excellent.so far its first choice they would be invited.my cousin also chose law as her study programme in ui

@oye.wizzy im sorry your weighted average is 39.9 and the lowest course in ui is 40 which is archeology and anthropology. but their is no harm in trial. @ife here is my number 07082493050.it will be on for the next 2 months cuz im planing of transferring my studies to a south African university.and im always online. take care

@ife-wise and others: is it true that ui 2011/2011 post utme is gonna be done at the CBT center? i find it dificult to belief this info, cos i dn't tink ui wil forgo interactive session for anything.

@ife your weighted score is ok for you to be invited for the screening.you will beat the localty cut off. then cut off marks is determined my the amount of people that applied for a course. the cut off marks for this year's screening will soon be released but will be just + or - 2 from last years cut off. u can use last year cut off as reference. i can help in the type of questions that would be asked during the interview. i mean faculty of science and technology students

i think the cbt post ume issue is a rumour cuz nuthing has been discussed about the post utme. we just resumed for second semester.

Remember that your performance on the oral interview is based on your knowledge of the ssce. So keep reading your books. Goodluck.

Well for u guys asking what the interactive session is all about and when it started, instead of the normal post ume exams conducted by other universities in nigeria in which one is given questions based on ur ume subjects and submit and later wait to know his or her fate, ui admission process does not go that way. Very soon probably end of this july or mid of aug information wil be released that candidates who made ui their first and second choice should pay the sum a thousand naira into ui acount at sum designated banks after which u wil send yr payment teller no, ur email address and other info concerning ur payment to ui through the website, after confirming ur payment then a pin wil be sent to ur email (mind u d pin may nt be in ur inbox it may be in d spam u ave to search evrywhre cos dis actualy caused serious confusion last year) after receiving the pin u wil den submit ur o'level result and jamb score to ui. After all submission have been concluded(first choice only first) grading would be done to know the no of applicant for a particular course and then decide the cut-off points(Economics pulled the highest cut off last year(merit74.9) followed by MBBS(merit74.0) the lowest (archeology nd yoruba (40.0) <i believe u guys now know hw to grade urself>if the o'level u submitd wit ur jamb is up to the cut off u would b shortlisted for d interactive session this is now when u can make or mar urself, after confirming ur original result wit d one u submitd u wil then progress to meet the lecturers in which simple questions not more than 5 will be asked based on ssce syllabus, i remember when i came 4mine i was asked the definition of market and on english to spell tomorrow and some other stuffs, now if ur nervous or afraid by the presence of those lecturers/Profs they wil know den it wil take d grace of God to get admision the most important thing is to get confidence, after the interactive session been concluded u later wait for the admision list. This same process applies to second choice, awaiting result and change of course candidates. Concerning when this system was adopted by ui, i mysef do not know cos people in 500, 600 levels even graduates went through this same interactive session.

Well my dear, for now nobody knows the cutoff for medicine but the truth is that last year's cutoff for medicine was higher than that. Goodluck.

@majorities: it depend on the course u want to study, if medicine/economic forget it!

@lady sommy: yes there is provision for supplementary list if not shortlisted only, it is also termed change of course, i.e u change to a course dat is lower/equal ur weighted score.
