i have both seagate and western digital and i know both of this makers have been in the hard disk manufacturing for as long as i know

Don't try to be a cheapskate. A 500GB hard disk goes for between 11-12k in Computer Village. Its better to spend that money and get one there knowing fully well that its an original and under warranty than spending 6k on a hard disk that would fail on the day you need it most and take your precious 500GB worth of files with it.

thank u for catching a crook and for ur correction i guess i must be sleepy when i replied the question about the speed i and i mentioned the data transfer rate but if u want the Spin Speed (RPM) it is 7200 RPM or just go to http://www.seagate.com/www/en-au/products/external/expansion/expansion_desktop/#tTabContentSpecifications and sure u get whatever u need.
as par the price i have a question for u and it goes like this the price of MTN sim card is just 150 naira presently and there was a time it was sold for over 20000 naira does it make the one of 150 naira fake and the one of twenty thousand naira original, pls post your answer as soon as possible MR CROOK CATCHER, thanks .

This stuffs are not from WD company, they are imitations, but it doesn't mean they are sub standard, cos nowadays everything is made from China , i just depends on what quality u demand from them.
