The battle scene in 13th warrior where banderas character sees the body of an ''eater of the dead'' and repeats to himself 'its a man' as he starts hacking them down in a frenzy.

Hostel II, at the final scene where the girl tells the head of the cult to name their price for her to live, he said $2000000, she collects their tablet PC and wires the money from her swiss account straight away and cuts off her tormentors manliness who had initially paid $30000 for her life, She then throws the manliness at the Alsatians Dogs that accompanied the head of the cult to the scene, the dogs munched on it like beef sausages, grin
that scene was El Classico wink
Re: Favorite Movie Scenes - As Many As You Can Think Of by Audrie(f): 8:05pm On Jun 06, 2011
Yeah, I love that scene in Achilles. The speech just before he kills Hector. Also love his war speech to his men when they landed on the shores of Troy. Love his dying speech too, ' You give peace in a lifetime of war.', 'the fool that thought he'd killed Achilles, '
Love almost every scene in Odyssesy, 300, Arabian Nights
I totally love that scene in The Count of Monte Christo when he gaves that awesome speech at his son's birthday, 'Life is a storm. One day u are basking in the golden sunlight, the next u are tossed hard against the rocks. It is d strength, ' That was a great speech.
Another one is The Preacher's kid. where she finally confronts devlin , dat scence was awesome, 'I'm the daughter of a king, ' such strength & braveness to walk away from her mistakes & to realize her true worth.
One night with the king. The scene where she n her uncle prays, when she runs into the court, her speech just before,, 'david won, not becos he fought well but becos he believed well, ' and then d last scene where she confronts both Xerxes & Haaman.
These r d ones i can remember for now.

Ohhh, and X-men 1, 2, last stand and wolverine: origins. I love every scene that Hugh Jackman showed his handsome self in. I'm totally nuts about that guy. wink tongue grin

@Audrie - with you on Troy. Love those scenes too. And the other scenes you mentioned sound very interesting.

Not very good with the X-Men franchise but I know I'll never forget a scene from the first one when Wolvorine had a gun pointed at him from behind, he quickly turns and chops the gun into two.

Then don't know in which of the franchises but the scene where Wolverine kills the character who creates a very dangerous wind, then kisses her or so.

Redman44:

The Last of The Mohicans: I love the ending scene in this movie scene too. Chicangozook was in a vengeful mood as he dealt with Huron Indian Warrior that killed his son, Uncas. Daniel Day Lewis was Hawkeye in this film. Daniel Day Lewis was outstanding in the movie. The film was set during the French and Indian Wars in the United States. You need to see this film.

Epic! I don't think there is any movie Daniel Day isn't awesome in. The man is a method actor.

Hulk vs the Army on the university campus on the second Hulk movie. That was awesome.

Spider-man vs Dr. Octopus in Spider-man 2, best Superhero fight ever.

Nightcrawler vs Secret Service in the beginning of X-Men 2, great intro to the character
Re: Favorite Movie Scenes - As Many As You Can Think Of by alpontif(m): 8:19am On Jun 08, 2011
the most memorable scenes i can think of are;

1, the opening scene of the greatest movie ever made( the Godfather1),, where Don corleone (marlon brando) met with amerigo bonasera, the artistry behind the setting, lighting and shooting tells a lot about the creative genius of F.F. Coppola
2, the scene(also in the Godfather) where Don corleone meets with the dons of all the other mafia families, the acting here was so real that you will actually think these guys must be mafia dons in real life.

, the scene where sonny corleone was machine gunned to death.

\, the scene where micheal corleone(al pacino) executes the heads of the mafia families plus his brother-in-law, and then swaggers off, the gangster swagger was actually invented here,

mohid: Commando-the scene where Arnold landed on the Island with his boat and was getting dressed up with his gear and painted his face.

We jumped from trees and also tried those moves as kids. This is sooooo funny.

Saw Ties That Bind recently. Fantastic Nollywood/Ghanawood film.

The scene where the three friends lie on the floor singing was awesome.

The scene where the women saves the man who Molested her daughter from being killed and then the wife has a 'talk' with the man before throwing her wedding ring at him. Very fantastic scene.

From Country Strong, I love the scene where the three country singers are inside a taxi.

From Kiss and Tell (Nollywood), the scene Nse's character confronts Mona Lisa Chinda's character about her sex with Joseph Benjamin's character. Nse gets to the door and before leaving says in a weird voice "guys... kiss... and... tell.

Saw Marlon Brando's first Oscar winning performance again recently. The scene where he says "I coulda been somebody, I coulda been a contender, I coulda had class... Instead of a bum, which is what I am...". Still gets me hyped.

one of my favorite scenes: Calypso's Evolution in POTC3

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N4xG78-1g8

sooo epic.
my only beef with this movie is how the lady who played
Calypso is Jamaican but spoke with that r3tarded "JaFakin" accent. grin

Other than that she is a phenomenal actress. cool

One of my fav scenes ever is the Dunkirk scene from the film 'Atonement' - the reason I picked this is the complexity of a single steadicam shot over the course of 5 mins with hundreds of actors and extras. The choreography of the scene leaves me without adequate words!! It's just one of the hardest things to do.

Ahhhh...where do I start from:
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: d final voiceover where each main character is shown and spoken abt with smtg that defined them in d move e.g for Ben's father the narrator goes "some liked buttons"!

Saving Private Ryan: best movie in d world. That opening scene when the row boats arrive on the beach and d massacre starts

The Matrix: the Kung Fu program fight scne btw Morpheus and Keanu Reeves

The Village: d dialogue btw Joachim Phoenix and his love interest under d tree. So poetic!

The sounds of music: when Lisa screamed her boyfriend's name so he doesn't tell where d Von Trapps r hiding. Watching his indecision btw love for her n loyalty to Hitler. Then he deciding to blow d whistle...d ultimate betrayal!

King kong: Naomi watts shakingly walks up to king kong as it lay dying. D look of love in its eyes even as it died. Kai...I cried buckets!

Flash dance: d final dance scene infront of d judges. It was mesmerizing! I had to do some research on d film and found out they used a MALE double who is a professional dancer for dat scene.

300: what can be more famous than throwing a spear at d so called immortal god and d look on his face when he bled?! Plus Butler's cue from his wife, his cry of "this is Sparta"!, d famous kick and feel of d scene of d frightened messenger as he fell into d pit!

Piraanha 3D: the killing spree at d beach! Total mayhem. I just kept rewinding...looked so real!!!
Will think of more later. Love films!!!
