I just observed this morning that MTN has started billing for it DSTV movile and the billing has 3 categories : FREE MINI charging 170 Naira per week MAXI charging 400 Naira per week They have added new channels as well like Trace, E!, ETC BUT THE CHANNELS ARE STILL LIMITED TO ONLY 1 Peeps need you reactions on this. |

Guy who told u dat,i called d customer care dis morning they va nt started charging rather they re upgrading and d new channels have nt started working due to network |

I have been using the maxi on my Nokia N96 for the past 2 weeks, although the system fails to deduct the N400 fee. I guess MTN have just found out that it's running an unintended promo. They will soon resolve the billing error and restore it but I miss Big Brother Amplified. No choice, we have to wait for them to fix the damn bug. |

U people forget mtn with a bunch of dissapointment ,I hav used nokia dstv for a year is eother havin problem with subscription or been off air for weeks,d best is dstv walka or drifta frm dsyv office which I am using. With thesame amont but charge monthly #1600,so if u hav bb on bold 1,2 and curve 1,2,3 ,htc phones,samsung,galaxy tab and ipad works with d dstv drifta and I hav one for sale at d rate of 12k..call 08036156851 if u ar interested. |

@diluminati, d connection on mobile phone devices is very slow,u will v 2 subscribe n make sure u do not leave d livee tv section until u get a dvb-h connection.Do not worry subsequent attempts to connect ,u will not be charged since u have gotten a text msg 4rm dstv,also make sure ur connection settings are on mtn gprs n u r wia dia is adequate 3g network.I do use nokia n96 n dis has bn my experience,I jst recharged 2days ago. |

I suspect the reason for the reduction in the Maxi plan is simply because Supersport 10 which shows Premium football matches has been removed from the channels list and has been replaced with the addition of some other channels like Ait, Natgeo Wild, DysneyJ, Supersport Select & 9 all of which were not there before. still a total of 15 channels. I'm not to happy with this. |
