I have been very busy since yesterday but work is going on at the site, though at a slow pace cause only a few guys were involved in the clearing of the bush, lets see what we can achieve today, meanwhile some trees are being felled to give space for where we want to build the duplex. I am still running around the whole suppliers of building materials in this part of Enugu to see how I can get good bargains from them. It shall be well.

Spider, good job you did on your previous project.
Can you please post the floor design so that we can follow it or maybe advice or contribute while they are clearing the bush don't be afraid that anybody will steal your ideas because we can get any houseplan at HOUSEPLAN.COM

i saw your email address from Nairaland, and this letter is not a spam mail. i am writing to request information from you concerning the wood work you posted in nairaland forum. You promised me that you will send the information across to me via email and i have not received any.
I am also in need of relliable, competent and honest techinicians in the following area, Electricians, plumbers, and a good bricklayer who can correct mistakes made in the duplex as well as plaster the duplex.
Also needed is a good scupture artician to finish the scrupture work in and around the building.
the duplex is located in Abia State, very close to umuahia going to Aba.
Please i know you are a builder, and i do know that you have reliable people working for you, i will be happy if you can introduce to me some of the reliable hands you have on site.

About the woodwork ceiling, I know the guy that did the work and his number has not been going for the past 3 days. I will go to his house or ask my madam to call his madam since we are family friends. Sorry for the delay.

Three days should be enough with commited workers. You know the objective is not just felling the tree but to expose and uproot the roots so it wont interfere with the foundation of the house.

Very good response as i was thinking of why you didnt use a tractor to clear out the bush and fumigate the area so as to dry up the entire area.

I have a quick question for you and all. I know this may be small fish for most of you, but I just need advice for a friend.

A friend runs a charity that helps rebuild broken down schools. They are currently working on a school and have now reached the stage of plastering and then painting the school. The bricklayer has given a quote for plastering with labour alone taking close to 150k! As this is charity work, my friend was wondering if he can get this at a cheaper rate. I dont have dimensons and all but I know its just a one block classroom. If anyone can help with quotes, I can send pictures to their email and maybe they can estimate the size from the pic.
The school is on the outskirts of lagos state btw.

I understand land in Enugu is now something worse than astronomical?
What could be the reason? grew up in Enugu and my parents still live ther with my younger ones.
So this is of extreme importance to me.

Thank you for the question, I am passionate about buildings and started investing in properties because thats the only investment I love. This house is not inside Enugu town my friend but near Enugu. I will soon start another one inside town. Good to know you also grew up in Enugu, I was an area kid in Coal Camp. Land costs are high in Enugu but its to be expected, the whole Igbo people likes to maintain a prescence in Enugu, Soludo, Uba brothers, JJ Okocha, Orji Kalu, Sam Egwu, and all other Ibo big wigs have many properties in Enugu. Thats what pushes these prices up.

I dont mind rural areas if its in the east of Nigeria.

God is really using u to reduce cost and help become their own landlord hence saving from the increment and craziness of lagos landlords, more grace to your elbow, please can i have a breakdown and cost implications of a 3 bedroom bungalow and a Duplex with big palour of 2 rooms down and 5 room up,

Its because I know that terrain very well, the soil conditions, culture and weather conditions too. I will expand when I have enough workers to do so, I am screening more workers tomorrow and getting more contact to reach out to skilled workers of all types. When the time is ripe, I will launch out to other parts of Nigeria.

Good and great vision, just please dont ever allow greed to change you from the great guy you are . . . if you keep it the way you, sky would be the beginning and like i said, we surely gonna do business in the nearest future
