@bela ogidi i ve been to Ghana b/4 precisely dis 22/may/2011.i went to kweme(knust) and the uni of ghana(legoon) for enquiry.i met with their admission board and i also met with a lot of nigerians in both uni.so i can tell u that u ever tell u that universities in ghana is $1000 is a big lier.ghana educatn sys is good better by far than nigeria sys but they hate foriegners if nt why wil a foriegner be paying more than morethan half a million per simester 4 tuitn alone and their indigen paying lessthan 100000 naira.int medical studnt pay morethan #1.2 millon as tuitn while indigen pays as little as lessthan #180k.int studnt currency is evaluatd in dollars($1=#166) while ghanian pays in new ghanian cedi(1GHC=#105).ghana universities is v v very expensive more exp than the best uni by far in africa(uni of cape town south africa).u can even check their websit for more info.www.ug.edu.gh,www.knust.edu.ghd their indigen paying lessthan 100000 naira.int medical studnt pay morethan #1.2 millon as tuitn while indigen pays as little as lessthan #180k.int studnt currency is evaluatd in dollars($1=#166) while ghanian pays in new ghanian cedi(1GHC=#105).ghana universities is v v very expensive more exp than the best uni by far in africa(uni of cape town south africa).u can even check their websit for more info.www.ug.edu.gh,www.knust.edu.gh

@bela ur coppa frnd may b schooln in niger rep and is decieving u that he is at ghana.ignore him,he may b a scammer if u wnt info go to their webside beside ghanian pays in GHC and nt dollars except the foriegners who pays in dollar its like saying that nigerians pay tuitn fees in dollars in nigeria.1$=#167 multiply by the figure u ar ask to pay(e.g med studnt pays approx $8000*167=#1336000)for foriegners.1GHC=#105 (e.g med studnt pays approx 3000GHC*105=#315000)for ghanians studnt.wen i got to ghana i discoverd that the nigerians schooln there(esp lagoon and kweme) are rich men children.the admissn board chairman in kweme told me that nigeria makeup the highest no. of int studnt in ghana he even went ahead to show me the list of hundreds if nt thousands of nigerians that ve apply already as in 24 may 2011.although the man is friendly and he attended to all of my questn.anoda thin u shuld kno is dat the only requirmt apart frm millions of naira is waec result no fuckn jamb or any other exams but to tell u the truth wat the board chairmn told me,he said to gain admissn in ghana ur waec must be excellnt.if i said exc am nt talkin of C6 or C5 but As Bs nd little C4 esp 4 med, engn, sciencs, and law applicnt.he even advice me nt to purchase d form if my waec is nt up to exc blc i will nt b given admissn.ghana value educatn more than any tin else.their educatn sys is standard if u doubt me go there and see 4 urself.alot of foriegn studnt ranging frm nigeria, china, europe and america.na there i see oyibo plenty way dey school 4 africa.ghana una too much una don show oyibo say we too we get educatn with good facilities and most importantly clean and friendly environs,no strike and no cultism.always reading studnt wat more.NIGERIA una still dey sleep.if nt b/c their int tuitn fee is nt 4 the poor i wuld ve been a prospective studnt of ug or knust but am stil in this educatnal disadv country(naija) with so many pri sch calld uni which can nt even admitt upto 100000 studnt a sectn where as in ghana u wil b givn admissn as long as u ve ur exc waec if una like make una b 2 million all of una go get admissn.
Re: Study In Ghana! by Johnsinia(m): 10:47pm On Jul 23, 2011
@faithedu ghana is a fantastic country.it is a country were i see law in practice no harrassmt by police,no 'area boys' terrorising innocent people.no need to b afraid of arm robbers blc their police are nt cowards as 4 wat we ve in nigeria.if u calld them in less than 5 min they wuld appear i kno this may sound strange to those wo ve nt been there but all of them is true abt ghana.steady power supply,u cant commit crime and go scot free unlike in nigeria people are massacered and our fg are still investigatin uptill today with those involvd gone free.u need to b in ghana at night i bet u u wil kno that nigeria is living in darkness.ghana is a very clean country.until i leave ghana i did nt see a dump refuge.
How i came to ghana:a ghanian frnd of mine in our church always gist abt ghana to me,most of d time he wuld talk abt their educatn sys, politics nd gov, footballers and the most interestin part is dat he talkd abt ghana wit proud,he love their gov with all of his heart wat u can never see in any nigerian.i taught he was just tryin to b patriotic and i wuld argue wit him tryin to defend our defendless naija.i blcme so v interrestd to visit ghana with him to see tins 4 myself.we fix date 22 may this year.my fellow naija, when we landed in tema i was short of words beautiful houses, clean environs.he(my ghana frnd)is leaving close to tema.frm tema to accra is less than 20min drive.accra is a decorative town.we stayd 3 days in accra while in accra we went 4 enquiry in ug and knust abt academic and educatn we also went to ghana independence ground.in their str is decoratd wit ghanian flags and long big sign boards all the boards at night produces light.u can neva see 'area boys' in d str.there is no ogada in d str of ghana.all vehecle obey traffic light.no corruptn.wat more,u need to b in accra.as if i ve seen all frm accra we went to kumasi which is abt 4 hrs drive frm accra.kumasi is a beautiful, clean, businss and lively town.its topography is kind of slopy.in kumasi we visitd a zoo and alot of attractn places.we were told by frnds in kumasi that there are a lot of gold and diamond mining.we spent 2 days there bl4 we finally came back to tema.in all,my one week visit to ghana was v entertaining the only challenges i ve is their money and food.am nt too good in handling coins, their money is a little bit confusing.1GHC=100 pesuwas.1GHC is in a note or coins.anoda tin i discover in ghana is dat they dnt ve girls.the populatn of male is more than the populatn of female unlike in nig where females are more.ghanians are naturaly black.
