If musa runs 110m (100m + 10 gap) @ time t.
Kola was able 2 finish 90m @ 1st. He will only be able 2 achieve 9/10 * 110m = 99m in d 2nd race.
99m + 10m (gap) = 109m
while
musa will achieve ds in
10/10 * 110 = 110m
when musa achieves his 110m, kola will be @ 109m.

thus in d time kola does 1m, musa does 10/9m.

So in d 2nd race,
By d time kola gets 2 d finish line (i.e 100m),
musa has done (10/9) x 100 = 111.1m (i.e already past finish line!)

Thus musa wins... again! Q.E.D.

find their velocity at 5mins
for musa=100/5= 20m/mins
for kola=90/5= 18m/mins

For the second race
The time taken for them to reach destiantion of 100m ( velocity/ Time)
for Musa=110/20=5.5
for kola=100/18=5.55

Musa wins cos he takes less time to reach his destination

Firstly musa has 110m to cover and since kola runs 90% of musa's speed then they will both meet @ the 90m indicator. Now for the remaining 10metres remember that @ a 90% speed ofmusa, kola wld av covered only 9 metres when musa wld hav cvered all 10metres left......thus musa still wins
