Aisha,I dnt take postinor 2 cos I kinda feel its stronger. So I just use postinor. M questions are as follows. hw many tyms do one take postinor in A̶̲̥̅ month? Apart frm d side effect U̶̲̥̅̊ mentioned above, wat oda side effect does av? I mean will taking postinor affect pregnancy in future? |

pls can any1 give me names of good contraceptive pills which can/will regulate periods (menstruation)? i heard that postinor is not too good especially when u stop using it - ur period is likely 2 stop 4 a while any suggestions wud b gr8ly appreciated. ta |

hello guyz i need help here i have sex with my girl friend without condom on 24 december i release on her but after we finish having the sex i give her postinor 2 with energy drink she took in my presence. Be careful girls with postinor 2, it has severe side effects, which you wont see now till you start trying for a baby. instead use the normal contraceptive pills, the hormones in it are reduce and body friendly |

I once used postinor 2 in a period between 48 and 72 hours and it didn't work for me!I ended up pregnant and I now have a 4 year old. I wouldn't even advise u use it cos it increases your chances of cervical cancer.However,if u must use it,use it between 0-36 hrs max |

Why are people here saying unprotected sex is not worth it all. Such a statement is not from matured minds. It is not only the unmarried that can use postinor. So because u are married you must be getting pregnant everytime you meet your husband hen? Every drug has its side effect. The most important information you need to know about postinor is that it is an EMERGENCY contraception. Meaning? Its not meant to be taken everyday. You were down with your husband with no condom and you are not ready for a baby then you can take postinor the following day. So, once you accept postinor as an emergency contraceptive the risk of cervical cancer is eliminated cos u need to take it daily for a very long time to expose yourself to the risk of cancer. So, postior is not and should not be used as a means of regular contraception. Go for the injectables, iucd, condomn and when you are occassionally unprotected and your husband can't hold himsef till condom is available, go for postinor. Bin goin thru all dis stuff here and I felt lyk dropin a lil advice. Iv actually taken postinor2 b4 nd it worked,no side effects though but I had a chat wit a female doctor nd she sed d@ too much postinor causes d womb 2 expand wch means mis-carriage when during pregnancy coz the womb @ d@ tym is 2 light 4 d baby. My advice is dis (actually works 4 me)know ur safe period and ur ovulation period so itz easier 2 no wen 2 av s.ex nd wen nt 2,if ur bf is arund wen ur ovulating den use a condom 2 avoid takin postinor @ all. |

| postinor can only work when it is taken within 72hrs and u must becareful when taken it cos some of them may be expired! And it work on u and if u're experiencing a white mucus from ur vaginar!that is if the mucus is liquid,it'll diffinately alows the sperm to swume to the egg waiting to be fertilized!and then postinor would not save the day...but if the mucus is solid and tick,u're safe even without the postinor!but use it anyway and stay safe... |
