@plutor, though you said ur source is reliable, but statistically about 560 Op were interviewed. Since the interview took 7 weeks & 16 op s interviewed daily.
It was said that they only invited those that they can absorb. So, as far as it went well, just hope. I Wish us success.

Am also more concerned about being selected;hv just been hearing dat d medicals will be sept. I put my hope in Jehovah

also,my CV was 6 pages including all IT projects i have delivered.

besides, i am versatile as i can work as a programmer,database administrator,network engineer,system administrator(unix and windows).

questions came from all these fields which i answered comfortably.

besides that i made a 2.1 with a 4-point CGPA and also had M.Sc.

i noticed that my M.Sc. colleagues that were in GT had their interview very short.

i still believe we are going to resume in October DV . NNPC will not recruit 5000 pple but by the grace Of GOD all forumite will be recruited, i envy the IT guy sha! but some us even have 2 masters degree and varied experience its the grace of God.

pls does any one have any idea as to how much the GTs would be paid and also when we would be reimbursed for the transport fare.

@ Hadaytoun, pls dont take loan in expectation of the reinbursement o!. In 2008 GTs were paid 5k. Howeva, somebody told me we may be paid 60k (20k for lodging for 2 nights and 20k for t-fares). I am expecting the money too. oluinunad@yahoo.com

Hi, though 60k is a reasonable amount for t fares, it is not my concern. my major concern is to get the job. i am confident that i will get through. but i am imagining how one will feel if he is not employed.

@ Hausawa, I cant imagine how one will feel for not making the final selection. God forbid bad thing. It was one of our major discuss on 16th August when I met some colleagues in the waiting room for the interview at panel 4. D reinbursement is just sometin little but the ultimate is to make the final list. May God help us all. But what about dis issue of Federal Character?

i heard abt da federal xter stuff,infact it was effected in customs service final list.the must important thing is to get alteast 2/3 majority of all of us who had the interview.God help us all

My dear don't be anxious over the NNPC. Just believe in God that your name'll be there and go about your day to day activities. The more you fixate your mind on that list the longer it gets for you. Regards

When we talk about fed xter,it means that d recruitment will be done in a way that people frm all d 36 states will be well n equally(nearly atimes) represented. The implicatn is that if nnpc is to employ 740,the highest performing 740 will not necessarily be taken. It will have to go down to d state n d highest scoring 20 pple in each state will be taken and as such some1 in d educationally competitive states of SE,SW etc with a score of 85 may not be taken n some1 with 51 in some other places may be taken.

It is used in govt related agencies,companies n parastatals etc like cbn,nnpc,military,paramilitary,firs etc. Surely,it does happen in private coys n MNCs.

Well, well, well, Those that are waiting to be called for resumption by January next year, wish you best of luck. As for me, I'm going for medicals ending of this month, and resuming for Induction by Oct/Nov this year.
