I've heard it oft-said, oh! How though UNN's post-utme is, but I make good to say that they are nothing out of the ordinary and is something anybody can pass with adequate prep.

Post ume would be starting in the middle of August. Heard that from a reliable source, by then most student has finished their exams and vacated the hostel. This would help solve the accomodation problem encountered last year. So be informed and get prepared for your exam.

gaining admission into socanth or any other department for that matter is as easy as passing ur test well above others. One advantage however is that most people dont choose sociology as their preffered course of study, so the competition is not much compared to pol. Sc. and econs

nope, hostel fee has been 9k for males and 11.5k for females

you really need to work 'extra hard' to gain admission because becoming a lion/ess is one of the greatest achievement you can make in life.

Asides.
If you own a laptop, or can afford to buy one, start making plans to bring them to school as the school provides free internet services. You see? One more reason to work harder

The University of Nigeria has two major campuses (UNN & UNEC) and of course other satelites campuses.
UNN is the main campus and houses the administration and most of the faculties. It is situated @ the soft green hills of Nsukka known for its ideal weather.
The University of Nigeria Enugu campus (UNEC) is situated in the heart of Enugu city and has about 5 faculties (Law, accounting, environmental studies, management, medicine) although freshers of medicine stay-out their freshmen year in the main campus. UNN
