IN order to fulfill his
electioneering campaign
promise of cutting down
school fees to affordable
level, Governor Abiola Ajimobi Monday ordered a
50 per cent reduction of
school fees paid by
students of tertiary
institutions in the state. The reduction of fees in the
institutions which will
take effect as from next
session was announced at
a meeting with heads of all
tertiary institutions in the state. The meeting, according to
the governor’s Senior
Special Adviser on Public
Communication, Dr. Festus
Adedayo was called so as
to deliberate on reduction of school fees for all
tertiary institutions in the
state. It would be recalled that
the former governor,
Adebayo Alao-Akala, had
increased fees payable in
all tertiary institutions in
the state by a 100 per cent before his departure. The governor said the
directive was borne out of
his concern for the welfare
of students in the
institutions and in
fulfillment of his electoral promise to the people. The governor recalled that
he had promised that he
would reduce tuition fees
in tertiary institutions in
the state as a way of
addressing the challenges faced by students in the
state . “We have always been
committed to improving
the welfare of students in
the state,” the governor
said. The governor called on the
students to reciprocate the
gesture of the government
by ensuring peace and
tranquility in the
institutions in the state. The statement said that
the reduction in the fees of
students of Ladoke
Akintola University of
Technology (LAUTECH) will
however take effect after consultation with the Osun
State government.
Governor Ajimobi also
promised to undertake
further actions in the near
future to improve the welfare of students in the
state, stating that as
leaders of tomorrow, the
government has a
responsibility to ensure
that the students enjoy conducive environment for
learning.

datz what diz thread iz 4, well am not GOD though u can still gain admission but u no dey av 2 pick pple dat chose dem as first choice b4 any consideration will be done 2 second choice candidates, but even b4 d 2nd choice consideration u av to score high in putme and u shud*not a must but its good* be from oyo/osun*indigene state* and et all for any consideration,

@ofin dat shud be good nuiz xpecially to d incoming ladokites,

as my QUOTA to this site and dis thread will be dedicating much of my time to see things go on smothly on here,
For ur state no big deal dey also accept non indigenes, cos i am also not an indigene, and for d PUTME subjects, its MTH;PHY;CHM;BIO and GNS*comprising of current affairs and use of english*

if u mean for UTME courses dat will reflect u can chg courses,jus get d chg of course/institution card and make d ammendment.LAUTECH offers both courses. But
if u mean can u chg courses while ur in LAUTECH.yes u can,and its called crossing.dat will be done wen ur in 200l.

How many question are we going to answer generally in pume. Is it 50 or 100. How come about maths, i did not offer math in my UTME

When is d expdite's make up test nd exams fixed 4

d number of questions varies 4rm year 2 year but always less than 100, prepare 4 a margin of 50

@otaghogho, d question cuts across all 5subjects and a little of current affairs, cuz when u get admission u'll offer all dis courses

the only thing am gonna advice u guyz writing putme on is dat u should do d exam very(score mor dan average which is 50%) cos their is limited chance for unlimited studentsi.e most pple score above average, Wel wish y'all success n hopin to seein u guys in Ogbomoso dis yr

uve passed d first test, now try as much as possible to make or get more dan 50 in ur PUTME cos d higher ur PUTME,the higher ur chances of gaining admission, hope d subjects enlightenment too was ok, as soon as d PUTME is out,it will be discussed here immediately

wow prof, wen i saw d name i tot it was dose pple but it turns out to be u, to ur question ur jamb result is good and for ur choice nothing is impossible.jus aim high in ur PUTME and pray, its gonna come out fine.though all skuc consider pple who choose dem as first choice first but nevertheless score high and ur in LAUTECH by GOD's grace

as to d 2nd choice issue,i no pple who happen to get d admission tru 2nd choice*though FEW* and i also no pple who made LAUTECH deir 1st choice and also scored high in PUTME dat wasnt choosen, dats y i included PRAYER who knws he might be among d FEE,
