Can the north afford to break out from nigeria with a fight?Or do they still think they can commandeer the oil field this time? I think the break up of nigeria which seems inevitable has to be agreeable, negotiable,"compromisable" and peaceful,if not,all hell will break loose and nigeria, especially north will become a desolate land. |

The only people i pity is the lazy sets from SS. What happen after they have exhusted all the oil wells or a break-through in cheap alternative source of energy, with the seemingly conclusion that Nigeria is no more? The only set of people preaching one NIGERIA in the north are the corrupt political elites. As it is, i can bet a wager that average northern mind dont give a fuxc about anything southern oil cos the effect is soooooo minutes in their daily lives as evident in the way they violently tackle any issue concerning south, i.e danming all the consequencies. Hate them for all i care, the most hardworking region in Nigeria of today is the north, with exception of the Yorubas and genuine Igbo minds . It is only on the waves of internet you will think the north wont survives micro seconds after division. I bet you take a trip to remote areas in Jos, Kaduna, Bauchi, Bauchi, Adamawa, Taraba,Borno(Boko Haram ).Nassarawa, kebbi, jigawa and Abuja to see unsupported large scale of farming. While the other side of Naija believes in sitting and waiting to be feed by eitheir host company or government officials due to the "the oil na me get am" syndromes. countries influence by the doctrine of necessity tends to progress more faster than others. Niger Republic is fine place take a trip to see how peeps survive without or with little supply of oil. So dont be decieved in to thinking that the north is going suffer after devision lai lai! The common enemies here are the corrupt politicians with all their manipulating tendencies in to inventing 'we' vs. 'them' antics and tactics. lets have a SIX state solutions. |

Rhino O se jare, do not mind all these bigots on Nairaland who think with their behinds, the political elites of all tribes are the enemies, the people who lost out in the PDP are the ones sponsoring this mayhem as evidenced by reports we are reading, let GEJ grow a backbone and arrest the leaders, I am sure he knows who they are. |

pokur: If thinking like a fool is what has kept all my family members alive and my widow mother with a roof over her head in kaduna through all the anti-christian/southern progroms over the years, then i'll be a fool well into my grave. What about all the southerners and christians who decided to be wise by living in aboki enclaves over the years ? ![]() |

, very very silly post from OP. Little wonder Nigeria is still stuck in the dark ages. Our youths (OP better be a youth else we are even worse off) think with their butts rather than with their brains. So OP, you actually sat down, logged into a computer only to type this thrash? How about you get some books and read to educate yourself? Phew, oh Nigeria, kpele! What a sorry country. |

![]() People should stop this bad state of mind, This are the list of people who are loser in life Igbos who hates anything Hausa yorubas who hates anything Hausa Christians who hates Muslims Muslims who hates Christians Hausa who hate Yorubas and Igbos Yoruba fool who will support anything North because of Islam and hide under the umbrella of objective thinking and being not biased Hausa who praise any Yoruba that supports them write or wrong Yoruba Muslims who are secretly wishing Yorubas will become political ally with Hausas Hausas who sentimentally pass opinions on their leaders ```````` Yorubas who definitely are supporting Buhari because he is Muslim Yorubas supporting Buhari because they hate Jonathan Hausas who don't want to hear the truth that North is a major problem in Nigeria Igbos who will keep whining about anything Yoruba or Hausa Ijaws who think all land with oil belongs to them Hausas who are scared of the hypothetical Southern unity, If you are not an enemy, why are you scared of Southerners uniting? Yoruba Muslims who hates anything USA and always follow conspiracy theories created by same America they hate Igbos who think Lagos is a no man's land Hausas who knows Nigeria is not one but for the fact that oil is not readily available to them, they want Nigeria to remain one Those who will attack Tpia@ no matter what she says write or wrong Those who attack Kobojunkie aimlessly (he/she is only human and can be right or wrong but she tries to be logical always; uses cheap logic sometimes) Yorubas supporting Sanusi's policies because he is Muslim and a fanatic at that too but they will never admit he not like them Self made Yoruba Islamic scholar who all of a sudden didn't read the Quran Boko Haram Financiers of insurgency in Nigeria All the above type of people are seriously scums, There is no point in not being objective at all, I can support Buhari today and be his enemy tomorrow. I can like someone because of something they said but I can also hate that person because of another thing they said I can never like something no matter what as long as that thing can change, there are chances I will hate that thing Unlike the Yoruba Muslims Sanusi nut kissers, I like some of his policies and others I hate him for. That is what I call objectivity. Anything/anyone can provoke different types of feelings provided that person or thing can change!! Because I said 1+1=2 doesn't mean you should believe me when I said so if you just believe me for saying 1+1=2 without your own reasoning, you will believe me when I say 10+10=27 and because I was right when I said 1+1=2 doesn't mean I am when i say 10+10=27, Think for your selves foooolss |

Negro_Ntns: Thank you for this important question. It is on record that Ayatollah Buhari REPEATEDLY called on his illiterate followers to "lynch" any person whom they felt was engaged in "election malpractice". Ayatollah Buhari also SPECIFICALLY threatened to personally ignite violence if he was unable to bulldoze his way into power as a civilian dictator of Nigeria, much as he did as a military tyrant decades ago during Nigeria's Dark Age. The dictionary defines "lynching" as an ILLEGAL or EXTRA-JUDICIAL murder committed by mobs. The PUBLIC use of that word ALONE qualifies Buhari as an instigator of MASS murder otherwise known as GENOCIDE, and on the basis of that public statement ALONE, Buhari can and should be arrested by Interpol and hauled off to face genocide charges in The Hague, just as those who promoted the pogroms in Burundi and Rwanda were rounded up, tried and unceremoniously jailed for life in Holland. It must be noted that Buhari studiously IGNORED all opportunities to call his monkeys to order and denounce the violence that they perpetrated per his orders, in the wake of the presidential election that he resoundingly lost. Well, Buhari LOST that election by enormous margins, which rendered any question of election malpractice totally insignificant in comparison to the unanimous landslide victory handed to President Jonathan Goodluck in all zones of Nigeria except the goat-herding village where Buhari's worthless life began. In fulfillment of his pre-election blackmail threat, Buhari then went ahead to announce his absurd notion that he could only have LOST because the election was not conducted to his liking, conveniently forgetting that precious few people on Earth give a flying phuck about his demented ramblings or preferences, or that most people would rejoice heartily if some good Samaritan would do the free world a big favor and blow him asunder. Nigeria is the world's 5th largest producer of high-grade petroleum, which makes her a nation of enormous strategic importance to the West. It is therefore in the interests of Nigeria AND the entire free world that this blood-thirsty homicidal maniac, Ayatollah Buhari-Bin Laden, is neutralized with extreme prejudice at the earliest opportunity that presents itself. The peace and stability of Nigeria must NEVER be held hostage by a mad chimpanzee insane enough to imagine that dictatorship over a nation of 130 million souls is his own God-given birthright. |

@ganja We can all be objective, a lot of us wanted GEJ to be president when he was Turai's house boy, nobody gains anything by hating blindly, on Sanusi, I have always maintained that he should not bail out the banks. Jakumo's hatred of Buhari is well known, giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it is in bad taste. |
| Re: Ayatollah Buhari - The Mass Murderer That Walks Free by Gbawe: 6:55pm On Jul 17, 2011 |
lukkie: Fantastic post . Those linking Buhari with Boko haram are on a flight of fantasy . Buhari lost two Presidential elections, one against a Christian in OBJ, and he did not seek to use any fundamentalist insurgency to destabilize Nigeria back then. Yet Atiku, Ciroma, IBB and many "born to rule" powerbrokers openly castigated GEJ for not respecting the "gentleman agreement" of the PDP. Atiku blatantly threatened chaos. Many of these guys , coincidentally PDP 'big boy',spoke in ways that left no one in doubt that they disliked GEJ deeply and fundamentally. Even a child could tell that there was trouble on the way for Nigeria with how these folks threw diplomatic talk to the wind in making it clear that GEJ has wronged them. GEJ knows that this is all about the fellow 'thieves' he betrayed . Mr. President failed to understand that "there is honour even amongst thieves" . It is these aggrieved folks , and not Buhari, who want to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ. This is why Mr. President cannot be decisive. He is burdened mentally because he understands the grievance of these people even if their method is totally condemnable. You may have all Nigeria's money at your disposal but you cannot buy/settle everyone - especially folks who are already filthy rich and who feel they should be sitting on the seat you "usurped". GEJ , despite ostensibly possessing all the powers required, is simply fearful of taking on these guys because doing so effectively amounts to taking on the most clannish region in Nigeria. That is a battle Mr. President knows he cannot win. This is why the FG prefers the appeasement route despite the fact that Nigerians are being murdered in cold blood. Sensationalist fans of GEJ , who love to play ostrich by ignoring the obvious, can continue to shout Buhari. That will not stop Nigerians dying from Boko Haram bombings and it will certainly not change the consideration that GEJ is powerless to act because he let numerous deleterious AGIPs , involved in ruining Nigeria from one Government to the next, push him into accepting a 'poisoned chalice'. GEJ is a poor student of history and a poor politician with how he does not understand that timing is everything. |

One Million Gbosas to you Gbawe, do not mind the GEJ apologists who can write dongo turenchi when it suits their agenda. GEJ should be presidential and do the right thing. |
| Re: Ayatollah Buhari - The Mass Murderer That Walks Free by Gbawe: 7:12pm On Jul 17, 2011 |
hercules07: My brother, me and you know that this is a PDP affair even if apologist of GEJ want to rope Buhari into this by all means. IMO, it is aggrieved PDP 'big boys' who are using Boko Haram to fight GEJ. Jonathan's inaction even confirms this. What becomes worrying is how supposedly intelligent Nigerians start to ignore what is obvious in their search to create a bogeyman that excuses GEJ's from culpability while distracting us all from how this is merely the PDP Devils coming to collect their pounds of flesh . This is what happens when ,even as you have nothing to offer, you crave power by all means to the extent you let some treacherous AGIPs (with nothing to lose and everything to gain ) talk you into going against extremely dangerous folks you supposedly made a "gentleman's agreement" with. The PDP did not gain the tag of "nest of killers" for nothing. The PDP is full of men who think nothing of shedding innocent blood to get what they want. I would be happy if these PDP folks face each other directly and leave innocent Nigerians out of their sick "do or die" fight for the control of power and thus the control of Nigeria's resources. |

Odunnu:So in your brilliant way of reasoning, we can conclude that MEND were against Yar Adua when they bombed Abuja first time and second time were against Jonathan on your independent day? Who were MEND against when they bombed ATLAS COVE in Lagos? Fashola? Bunch of hypocrites!! |

First of all this thread should be moved to sectarianism section.Jakumo is a disgrace to the world of intelligence and deserves no attention henceforth from the wise minds. This is purely a PDP affair and should be treated as such. Why did they hurriedly kill "Yusuf"?On whose order was that done? What were they trying to cover up? Every sane mind knows that only the President could have ordered the killing of Yusuf. The US army could have in no way killed Bin Laden without the order of Obama.Yusuf was our Bin Laden and we were fortunate to capture him alive. |

Eziachi and Aba Jakumo is an intelligent guy who has an axe to grind with Buhari, we all know that the problems GEJ is facing come from his party and the agreement they had on who will be the next in line to plunder our resources, I would have loved it if they faced one another instead of innocent citizens of the country. @Seanet Eziachi is one of the few good men, we are allowed to have different opinions on people, I do not particularly like Zik or Ojukwu and that standpoint will be seen as a sacrilege by someone from the East. |
| Re: Ayatollah Buhari - The Mass Murderer That Walks Free by Eziachi: 7:52pm On Jul 17, 2011 |
Jakumo:Stopping massaging yourself, its only Nigerians that think nothing beyond their tribal bigotry will blame Buhari for what is happening under the watch of your god's annoited president. Nigeria will always look for escape goat for their failure. It was Emeka Ojukwu in the 60s, today its Buhari. But if 10% your leaders has the honesty and integrity of Buhari/Emeka Ojukwu your cesspit of a dying nation would have stand a chance. |
| Re: Ayatollah Buhari - The Mass Murderer That Walks Free by Negro_Ntns(m): 8:45pm On Jul 17, 2011 |
Jakumo, Calling for anyone that rig election result or manipulates the voting procees to be lynched is commendable. If I understand and recollect correctly, what Buhari said was that if he did not win he had no intention of going to court to challenge the result. That will not be an unusual thing to do. You have a misconception of Buhari's principles. Separate his personality from his vision and policies. Look at Obama, Great personality but bad policies. People have failed to separate and are supporting him even when his policies are detrimental to their interests; or on the other side hating him even when his personality and image, in just two years, is clearly bringing the international community back from the damages and loss of confidence suffered under Bush. Buhari is a common-man guy, he is vasty and passionately anti corruption. The problem with Buhari is he wants transformation to happen overnight. This mess took decades to stack up, dismantling it will not happen magically overnight. Add to his impatience for transformation on the ground and his intolerance of corrupt politicians, Buhari is a philosopher by brand , an idealist, and not a politician. If anyone is still interested in a "One-Nigeria" that can hoLd its own on global sale, look to Buhari as the one man capable and competent to initiate that turn around and lay the framework that successivve regimes after him can implement for more vibrant results. If we ask all our leaders, past and present to declare their assets publicly, I guarantee you Buhari will be one of a few with clean and untainted assets. So, separate your dislike for his personality from his more endearing vision to improve the government and make it people-centered. |

Negro_Ntns: Listen to yourself. Are you saying here with a straight face that there are in fact circumstances under which it is acceptable to incite mob murder ? Well sir, I beg to differ, and I say verily unto you that there are NO circumstances in a CIVILIZED society under which mob murder should be encouraged or condoned. Murder by any other name remains MURDER in the eyes of the law, and with that in mind, Ayatollah Buhari is as guilty of wanton bloodshed as was Charles Manson, and therefore MUST be hauled into custody by Interpol, or by Nigerian authorities, whichever realises the urgency of doing so first. |
