I didn't read this but I can swear it's about the superstitious N1 that accrues to OBJ. 1 Like |

I heard this yesterday from a friend and I went "Oh shutup!" thinkin it was him just being silly! But hearing this again has made me actually pause to consider the possibilty. And I still think it's far fetched! Besides, you can actually load an mtn phone using *555* the pin#. The 1 in between the *555 and the pin can be done without. I wonder where people get these stories from anyway! |

Heard this from a colleague yesterday and didnt really know if it was true |
Re: Mtn *555*1* by Jakumo(m): 7:49am On Aug 16, 2007 |
Imaginative bullshit, but certified bullshit nonetheless. Here is another : I hear authoritatively that the "1" actually denotes one Iraqi dinar that gets sent to Saddam in hell every time a Nigerian adds credit to his cell-phone. Spread the word. |

I heard the same thing this morning and was like what will he do with all this money sef? |

MTS First Wireless has *555*2* as the recharge code. Is the #2 meant for Atiku? If yes, why would Atiku get 100% more money than OBJ? Make we hear word joo. These companies rarely write their own codes, they simply buy software for billing and call management from companies outside Nigeria. |

but when you load MTN without the 1 it still goes. |
Re: Mtn *555*1* by Mariory(m): 5:44pm On Aug 16, 2007 |
If you do it without the 1, then #5 goes to OBJ's account. |

Funny!! I usually load with *555* without the #1. So, does that mean I'm refusing to give OBJ my 1naira? SMH!!! |

L.M Ayedun..: It's amazing the number of ancient anti Obj threads that have been exhumed since his letter to Gej went viral. |

vanguard1:See them shamelessly hailing themselves. So this dug up thread is now justified since the digger has been identified by you not to be pro-Jonathan! So what happens to your matter of fact 'definately pro-jonathan' statement?? This right here is amongst the bane of our problem! You know in parts but speak with so much confidence as if you know it all. |

Obviously one of the many BBM/twitter copy-and-paste stories. One loony that is either high on grade A skunk or frustrated by unemployment + hunger, cooks up a pathetic lie, sends to all his contacts and it spreads like wildfire |
Re: Mtn *555*1* by vanguard1(m): 7:35am On Dec 13, 2013 |
Tintinix:I would have chosen not to honour you with an attention but for the records, I have to. Am neither pro-jonathan or pro-Apc, am just a free political thinker, who chose to see things the way they are. In a more serious quote, don't jump into my post in nairaland next time if you have nothing important to say. |
