your firmware version is also important,which version is yours

am not a guy but a lady.did you try the first solution.your firmware cannot be 9,check it should be 4.

I've discovered dat many people dat think they know so much about iphone4 end up bricking people's phones. How can u say gevey or rebel is "talking about jailbreak".

U've answered urself here dat AT&T doesn't offer unlock. So what is d only soln to unlock iphone4s if not chips(gevey or rebel). Ultrasn0w is for iphone3g,3GS,n iphone4 with bb 1.59(u don't see a locked iphone4 with dat bb anymore cos it would av been unlocked b4 being sold).

is good to inform the seller all you know about gevey before telling him to use it,it is not advisable if he must use should try original gevey.unlock code for At&t is available now,give me a call.
