Nigeria in recent times has become a hub for most business organisations, although there are other international companies in the retail sector who have been slow to come into the country, based on perceptions that it is too difficult to do business here.

More than 500 Nigerians fly to Dubai every day to shop. This translates into more than $1bn being shipped from Africa’s biggest market to the tiny emirate. That is a retailing market gap by anyone’s standards.
