Co-creation Hub Nigeria announces Membership plans, go get yours

As we count down to the official launching of Co-creation hub, the co-working space has just announced membership structures for interested community members to bootstrap their startups. As outline on the site;



    CcHUB is a membership based community of hackers, designers, tech companies, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, academics, investors and everyone interested in technology innovation and application for prosperity in Nigeria. The following are the proposed 4 tiers of membership:

    Red

    Who is it for? Red membership is open to individuals who wish to be part of CcHUB community virtually or participate in events occasionally.

    What do they get? These members will be part of the online community where members can interact, share expertise and collaborate. Red members can also participate in CcHUB events. Red members can apply for Orange membership.

    How much is it? This is a free membership.

     

    Orange Membership

    Who is it for? Orange membership is for anyone who meets CcHUB basic requirements for membership and clearly demonstrates potential value to the community. To be granted Orange membership, applicants must be vetted in a face-to-face meeting

    What do they get? This tier gives access to the HUB; flexible co-working space, meeting spaces, events and resources available to help scale projects and start-ups.

    How much is it? Orange membership will go for 30,000Naira/year (flexible payment arrangement available).

     

    Green Membership

    Who is it for? Green membership is for start-ups and projects in pre-incubation phase in need of a working space, mentoring, access to community of experts and users and ultimately capital.

    What do they get? This membership grants access to a semi-permanent desk, locker*, mailbox service and priority access to meeting room/spaces.

    How much is it? Currently, we have 10 spaces available per quarter, and this access will go for about 30,000naira/quarter.

    Orange members can upgrade to Green but preference will be given to people/teams who can demonstrate progress towards a specific project or product.

     

    Blue Membership

    Who is it for? This is a tier for tech companies and corporate organisations interested in technology application and innovation in Nigeria.

    What do they get? This membership provides full access to the community – space for event, access to expertise and use of living lab for product testing/launch.

    How much is it? TBD

Cool. This would be really beneficial to those with good enough ideas and are ready to code it. Until I become good at web app programming, I think I'll wait a while to find out more about this. Pitch Monday is also a good one for getting startup funding, from what I've seen on www.codenigeria.com

i'm not quite clear with the message here, is this an online & physical environment, or just simply online? u have not provided enough details(all i see is a description of tiers of membership) of benefits & supports i stand to gain from this venture and already we are seeing prices.

It's not online but rather a very beautiful and well designed open space located at Habert Macualey Way, Sabo, Yaba. They got chairs, 10MBPS Internet Connection, Latest Samsung Internet TVs, Mobile Gadgets like iPhones, Ipads, Andriod, Blackberry etc to test your application on. It's a very cool place to get your startup up and running.
