brianon: When I visit blogs, I almost always see American or European authors and hardly any African ones, particularly Nigerians. I am just curious as to whether Nigerians are into blogging. If so, how seriously would you take it i.e. investing in building a Wordpress blog vs. signing up on Tumblr, getting hosting and a domain, etc. Or do you find posting on forums enough to satisfy your need to say something on the web. What about personal blogging? Do you do that?

You said you have not been seeing african/nigerian bloggers, my question is where did you Look/Search? because there are thousands of bloggers in nigeria alone not to talk of Africa.
I am also a blogger, I blog at http://www.josylad.com and http://www.quickweightlosstruth.com am also a member of various Naija bloggers and International bloggers Facebook Groups.

Well maybe you have underestimated nigerians but you can see how people answered you with haste. Well i also do writing that is http://greenland-grenade..com. At least to start with. And with my little experience you can only survive blogging if only you write what you know best not what you see people doing.

I'm new on here. Please how do I start a new thread. Secondly, as there are many bloggers here, is it wise to post plagiarized work on your blog? (At least for the sake of traffic)
