I get worried about everything

ladies and gentlemen how do you feel whenever you think you are growing old?

sadly, aging is an inevitable part of life cycle. so it is quite normal to feel anxious about the ultimate changes that will occur. however, being old doesn't mean being senile/unproductive you can still do things for yourself, i know late 80/90s who still do some basic things for themselves.  i think the key is to do as much as you can now, so when old age comes there will little to no regrets and also being healthy/taking good care of yourself health wise and otherwise so when that time comes you can still do certain things for yourself.

we have no control over it, so the least we can do is to make good use of it

I used to get worried about growing old, then they brought out viagra. Now there are no worries.

@poster, What you should be focused on is making each day of your life count for something coz no one knows when death is gonna come. Everyone hopes to live long though. Work and live everyday of your life like its your last. Years ago I was 10yrs old and then 25yrs and now 31yrs and still counting. Soon it will be 40,55,80,95,dead! ! ! Make everday of your life count! Nuff said!

Youth is a circumstances you can't do anything about. The trick is to grow up without getting old.

There's nothing to worry about cos its natural. You do not even know it until people start referring to you as baba or mama. A friend of mine enrolled in one of these GCE lesson classes. He said he completely forgot himself and immediately adapted in the class until someone called him baba. At first, he was wondering how a 'baba' entered the class until someone close to him touched him saying its you, you are baba. Since then, he respects himself while in class as a baba to his classmates

I feel the real reason for all your fears is because of the end. While you were young, did you not wish you were older so you can do things adults do.

Getting older doesn't sound so bad at this point---right now, I'm 20something, broke, buried in student debt, trying to navigate relationships and life and work and politics and all sorts of complicated crap. It makes me feel ignorant, lost. If I were older, I'd have experience to draw on, know more people I might be able to ask for help or guidance, have younger people to teach the lessons I've already learned, and that all sounds good.


Saggy boobs do scare me though.

Why getting worried? Never regret of getting old, it is a priviledge denied to many.
Besides the issue of getting old is like d heven is falling which isn't 1 person's problem.

Am only worried about retirement, and jobless graduate children playing PS6 to while away time. I should be okay if my kids do get a life and leave me to enjoy what I would have worked for so far
