@ ShyOne

Sister Shy!

Sent you an email.

Was a technical engineer when I served in the US Army. Most of the responsibilities and skills learned were transferable to a civilian component. A flight to Bangkok would be about 17 hours. Don't quote me if that factors in the layover. But here's the link to the hotel

http://www.lebua.com/en/lebua-at-state-tower/hotel-images/

Good place for a honeymoon  wink

Wowwww, very impressive - I loved the room with the candles it sets ambiance, the lobby area with the baby grand----beautiful, the bath area----delightful, Bvlgari (I have all their scents), the pool area----is magnificent. You are going to have a great time. Very, very nice.

My dad was in the U.S. army - that has been many years ago. But you can achieve some great benefits - an engineer huh? You are quite the hardworker. I'll check the email in the morning - I am getting a bit tired so I am going to retire for the evening.

It has been my pleasure Lax. I really loved that hotel, Very nice - looks so relaxing and calming - a very good vacation. Do they have masseuse? That would top it all off. grin I would love that, The pool - the swimming area and jacuzzi area looks similiar to Tina Turner's home. I LOVE THE POOL AREA AT THAT HOTEL. The pool, the bath and the baby grand areas were my favorite of the website.

Thank so much for sharing. Now only if I can experience something similar in Lagos or even half that good - I hope to be comfortable. grin

Question - do you have to take a bunch of shots to go to Bangkok like I have to take to go to Lagos?

Is there a masseuse?

Roger that Ma'am!

They have an onsite masseuse.

Don't have to take any shots for Bangkok. And let's not talk about the food in Bangkok. Off the chain. For $15 a day, you will eat yourself into extinction!

You are a very handsome guy - but I love men who are conservative - you are too flashy for my tastes - no offense - do the chains hurt your neck and weigh you down at all? Just curious.

I love very masculine men who don't do all this type of profiling.

$15.00 a day - you can eat yourself into extinction?  what?  lololololololol

How did you hear about this?  A wonderful, wonderful, wonderful find.  You are going to have a really good time.  I am jealous.

[b][size=16pt] How pitiful!!!!

The urgly side of it is that, some people on here couldn't see anything immoral and sinful in this trade called game/fun/run, that these girls indulges in.  Sorry!!!

Imagine, these girls going about sleeping with so many men and any thing with a sausage in between his legs - for material gains and fashion that comes and goes within 4 months, is beyond me - pity!

Among all the places in the world, is it Africa in particular Nigeria, that one would take such risks?? A place where, almost all of them are infected with Hiv Aids due to the level of promiscuity, I wonder!

In fact, the women are catching up too, if not worse and I ask, such a place, is it where one should risk his/her life on 'death roll'?

Generally, 95% of African men are ignorant when it comes to protecting themselves, their wives and girlfriends from s e x u a l diseases.  Majority of our men never 'think' protection in their promiscuous pursuits and the girls themselves would not even suggest of it, for the sake of loosing trade/their men - it stinks!

They won't dare touch condoms even when given free of charge - they won't use it - they rather die catching the nonsense and infecting un-assuming and innocent people in their lives, than use something they consider a hinderance to attaining the apex of s e x u a l pleasure.  Imagine a 5 minutes pleasure and that's the level of ignorance, I'm talking about here.  How silly!!

May I just say girls, good luck with your 'Blackberries'! When your time is up, just go and meet your maker and, don't forget the  Blackberry! cry

Whatever your pursuit in life is - money, fame, material wealth, designer cloths/bags and Jimmy Choo shoes remember, we came to this world with nothing and we all, will leave with nothing - as you can see, it doesn't really worth it, does it? undecided

Re: 'RUNS' Business In Nigeria: A Multi-billion Naira Industry? by Cuddlemii: 7:30am On Sep 18, 2011
Its not a new phenomenon in the world so I am not taken aback or astonished. It has been in inception since civilization, most of these women have graduated to being housewives with kids now and nothing happened to them. The question we must ask ourselves is the cause of all these. Its the human nature & wants/desires. Human beings are greedy & are never content. Runs is not only for ladies, men do it. I heard some guys sleep with top shots for money and they meet early in the morning on Saturday some where in Ikeja. These men have female lovers, wives, partners etc yet they want to feel those crispy notes in their hands. Even in western countries, we have ladies who render services to the Forbes 100 billionaires, athletes, musicians etc. All those groupies, escort services etc. Just that the western way is far more expensive due to the currency value. I also heard of a Nigerian governor in the south that flies in Brazilian babes at will. It happens everywhere. Most entertainers too do it, you think they live solely on their acting fees alone? They have a certain standard they have set for themselves & they need to maintain it even if they have to bed a cripple or a man with sores they have to lick.

The likes of Chikwuelu, Ita Giwa, Nike Oshinowo etc all did it at some point to get to where they are. Just that runs pass runs so obviously their own level is top on the hierarchy. These women have also retired now but recruit babes as in pimping to those top politician. They now use young bloods to rejuvenate their system. This has been in existence even during the military era, where babes are taken to married officers. Some of these babes were probably beaten or killed when they could not stand the aggression. I also heard a lot of ladies get killed on the ship by those captain and are thrown into the ocean, lagoon or whatever. Some babes in those high profile hostels around unilag get their pictures submitted to pimps for the highest bidder to choose. Some Osu or Lasu babes do some diabolic stuff called sin gbere (A yoruba term for an incision or injection done by an herbalist in a lady's private part so as to drain the pocket of these men). There is also Ikeke-idi (waist beads with special powers, those babes that wear them exposing it for people admire their flat tummy, beads & exposed g-strings especially on bikes). So its not a new thing. Pastors are even in it as well, those ones wear sunglasses ahead of time to the hotel to await their conquest. The writer referred to cheap money. I don't think 20k would get runs babes sleeping around when a 16 years old babe handles more than that for mere weaves. These runs babes are getting way more than that. Some are even from rich homes but just want adventure and extra funds. I guess money is never enough for some ladies. Some ladies are so over protected at home & thrown into those private university so they don't know left from right, they just go with the flow.

Most women are also lazy, always looking for shortcuts and not willing to work hard for their money. To an extent, the economy is not fair as money is not in circulation but siphoned and fetched to one fraction of the society leaving the others longing for it or desperate to partake. Though its not enough reason to be silly but how do these ladies know what is right or wrong in Nigeria when all we hear are preaching of why to stay a virgin or abstain from sex, how far has that lecture gotten us. Only gets youths curious & rebellious. Independence & empowerment should be taught to youths more often so people know their values and how to turn those values to reality.

Parents also need to take it easy on the whip & concentrate on a relationship with their kids. Nigerians have instilled the rod system on parents that they don't even relate with their children except when they misbehave. Some parents even curse their children that Oniranu, Ko ni da fun e, Oni se orire, olori bu, Eni ti wan sasi (Abusive Yoruba words for Useless child, It won't be better for you, Cursed child etc) You never know the angels passing. Parents should learn to pray for their children even while in the womb and prophesy to the child. Even while growing up, they should bless the kids and pray for them. Some children have been born to believe they are worthless by their parents. Parents also need to struggle to get a career for themselves even if its selling pepper, some parent's leave all the burden to these Runs babes. Why didn't the parents invest, some parents are so flamboyant that they blow up all their money and expect their daughters to slam 50 men and bring the cash home. Some mothers even taught their daughters how to fend or provide for the family because they were lazy in their time too & only know that way of life. Women should get industrious, even if you are not a millionaire, at least die with integrity so that your daughters can emulate you as their role model.

Cuddlemii said it all!

We need more compassion as a society for all our people - especially our women, they are the mothers of our future. We men in my opinion are 99% to blame for the situation of runs girls. If you make employment based on sexual exploitation, school grades on sexual harrassment and so on. How do you expect things to get better. Remember you have mothers, sisters and perhaps daughters someday - do unto others ,

It is a reality we need to leave with and not deny. I am a frequent traveller across Nigerian Cities because of the nature of my work and it is amazing the sheer number of girls that loiter at fun spots in every city I visit. It is the same story in Asaba,Benin, Lagos , Abuja, Warri, PortHarcourt ,Enugu and wherever.

On my last visit to Lagos, my host told me that he can refer some pretty girls to me from lekki and that I need not step out of my hotel room. This he readily did and I picked on one of those he sent to my BB phone. When the girl showed up, I was dazled; here was one flawlessly pretty babe you can mistake for a caucasian, peddling sex for 25k a nite. I got to know she was a recent graduate and of course, she stayed the night. Later, I found out she had about a million naira in her bank account (not exagerrating)and her friends stay in a rented flat at lekki and from there they service men across the Island and beyond from 20k/night. It is the same story that is replicated across Zone 5 and around corner shop in Abuja and all across the country.

Their patrons are usually Professionals ,Politicians and middle class guys who are out for the fun. I do not judge those who patronize them or those in the trade. I have come across girls who play Bishop Oyedepo's message before you sleep with them and those who pray in tongues after sleeping with you. Once I slept with a girl that I later realized was the daughter of the Chair of a Professional Body in Nigeria. It is a real mixed multitude that perhaps show the desperate times that we are in right now.

Parents really need to make out time to raise their girls and really be friends with them otherwise they will be exposed to the perils of the 'runs' game. Some of the stories we hear are chilling ranging from ritualists to murderers preying on these girls.
You can be sure the situation is not changing anytime soon!.
