  IT ALL STARTED LAST YEAR (2010) WHEN THE NEW GOVERNOR OF OSUN STATE DECLARE TO THE PUBLIC THAT THE SCHOOL FEE OF OUR CARING, FABULOUS INSTITUTION (UNIOSUN) IS UNACCEPTABLE BY THE INDIGENCE OF THE STATE AND THAT HE (THE GOVERNOR) IS GOING TO REDUCE IT.
WHILE WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS ONE OF THOSE POLITICAL LIE THAT WE KNEW OUR NIGERIA POLITICIAN WITH
BUT TO OUR SURPRISE HE DID IT LAST WEEK (HE REDUCE THE SCHOOL FEE OF OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY REASONABLY) BIG CLAP TO THE GOVERNOR FOR FULFILLING IS PROMISE.
BUT WHERE THE PROBLEM LIE NOW IS THAT THE REDUCTION IN THE FEE HAS CAUSE THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM IN OUR CAMPUS
1- DIFFICULTY IN CHECKING UTME RESULT
2- ABNORMALITY IN ADMISSION PROCESS
3- ADMISSION LIST UNDECIDED
4- FIGHTING BETWEEN STAFFS
5-PROTEST AMONG STUDENT.
AND THE V.C. EVEN LIED TO US THAT THE REDUCTION IS FOR ONLY THE INDIGENCE S THANKS BE TO GOD THE TRUTH IS NOW KNOW BY ALL.THE V.C. HAS EVEN DECIDED TO RUN TO SOUTH AFRICA 
THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT  THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ALL THIS CRISIS ARE THE LOVELY JAMBITE WHO ARE SEEKING ADMISSION INTO UNIOSUN BECAUSE THE SCHOOL IS NOW USING WHAT I CALL LEVERAGE TO GIVE ADMISSION
IMAGIN SOME RESULT HAVE NOT BEEN RELEASE YET EVEN AFTER PAYING 1000 NAIRA,
YET IST BATCH OF ADMISSION LIST HAVE BEEN RELEASED AND 2ND BATCH IS ON THE PROCESS AND A LOT MORE
WHILE THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR WAY THEY SHALL GAIN ADMISSION (I THINK U UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEANTH)
AND FOR THOSE THAT  HAVE GOTTEN ADMISSION START PROCESSING UR ACCOMODATION NOW SINCE OUR SCHOOL IS NOT A RESIDENCIAL SCHOOL ACCOMODATION WILL BE DIFFICUTY TO GET IF U LATE,
HOSTEL AROUND SCHOOL ARE GOOD B/COS U JUST WALK IN TO SCHOOL
BUT HOSTEL IN TOWN ARE POOR B/COS U HAVE TO ENTER PUBLIC BUSES TO SCHOOL WHICH MAY BE EXPENSIVE DEPENDING ON FUEL PRICES

OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY (UNIOSUN) POST UTME
I hereby bring to your notice that the 2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise of OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY (UNIOSUN)will hold on Saturday 16th June, 2012 at 10.00 am for candidates who chose Osun State University as their 1st and/or 2nd choice, with a minimum score of 200 and above.

However, candidates who met the national minimum cut-off of 180 may be considered for admission into programmes in Agriculture, Education and Arts (Humanities and Culture) only.

SPECIAL NOTICE:
1. The University is not admitting candidates for MBBS (Medicine) programme for the 2012/2013 academic session. Candidates for the MBBS programme may wish to change to any of the programmes in the University for which they are qualified or apply for a change of institution to other Universities.
2. The National Universities Commission (NUC) recently approved the under-listed programmes and candidates who wish to change to any of the programmes in this screening exercise may do so.

COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FORMS
Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website: http://www.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit an application. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission. One of these two copies should be brought along together with a copy of the candidate’s UTME score print-out on the day of the screening exercise. The second copy is to be submitted upon admission to the University.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line following the same process as above and report on the screening day.

SCREENING CENTRES
All candidates (UTME and Direct Entry) are to report for screening at the date and centres indicated on their online registration printout. Candidates must report at least one hour before the commencement of the exercise.

ACCESS TO THE REGISTRATION PORTAL
Access to the portal is through the use of scratch cards with PIN. Candidates require two scratch cards (one each for registration and result/placement checking), which are obtainable directly from any of the following specific branches listed below, upon payment of five thousand FIVE HUNDRED into the following account
