Hey guys! saturday wasmy day 10 so i went to the hospital for scanning, they were able to see 14 follicles.when i wanted to take my day 10 injection i realised i have been taken the buserelin wrongly, instead of the arm i take it on my bum.cos i was surprised the nurse gave the injection on my arm.she was like didnt the matron tell me where to inject myself?,but really she didnt tell me neither my hubby at all.that was my first time of taking such injection and i thought all injection goes to the bum.hope there is no big deal about it...please i need your response asap, counting down to my day.

Both the arm and bum are intramuscular. I don't think you've taken it wrongly.

All the best

Thanks to who sent me supernatural childbirth. God bless you. Lady G?

I pray for my people, that the God who made heaven and earth will come to your aid quickly. And we will be invited for multiple naming ceremonies in Jesus' Name.

I learnt there is a renowned professor of obstetric and gynaecology from South Africa who set up a hospital here in Nigeria. The name of the hospital is LouisMed located in lekki. There is a drug he uses for infertile women whilst prepping for IVF. Funny enough, one of his patients got pregnant while on the drug and didn't need the IVF again. She delivered overseas. He had to refund the amount paid for the IVF. And the story keeps repeating itself. The patients are prepared for IVF, and placed on this drug, get pregnant and deliver safely.
.
Call the hospital for enquiries on 0813 010 1759.

U can Google the professor. His name is Prof Akin Bamigboye. The dean of faculty, dept of obstetrics and gynaecology, faculty of Clinical Sciences,
Ondo State University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.

If u have tried other places with no success, maybe u can try the hospital

Buserelin injection is given under the skin (subcutaneously), wondering how such a vital info could be overlooked. You need to ask questions in St Ives, ask and keep on asking. Its the fat matron right? But its good you had a good stimulation. All the best on your EC, hope you are taking lots of water

Good day God mercies pls would love to know why pineapple should be avoided ma'am.pls

Some have said pineapple core helps with implantation (1/4 of the core), however, some doctors advise that it should be avoided entirely because it can cause contractions.

It's up to you to decide

@ bolateetoe, please take things easy. Didn't experience vomiting after EC, and only spotted a little for like 2 days. I also felt the needle pricks twice while under anesthesia and felt myself recoil and tensed up all through the process, then when the needle was removed, I finally relaxed.
Having been under anesthesia twice, I was able to handle it very well.

You need to rest, eat well and drink lots of water in preparation for ET and pray of course for those cuties in the lab, number fertilized, grade quality is key.

The joy of the Lord is your strength in Jesus name

It is that period of the year again when St. Ives Specialist Hospital makes In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments affordable and accessible.
The Management of St. Ives Specialist Hospital, in conjunction with Ives Medicare Foundation, hereby announces the annual 50-Percent-Discount Promotion in the cost of In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments for willing patients.
Registration for the promo starts on Monday, February 1st, 2016 and ends on Monday February 29th, 2016 and it is valid in Ikoyi branch only; the numbers to call for further information are: 08023389610; 08038183212, 08101688093.

This initiative, which is in its 7th year since it debuted in 2010, aims to lighten up drastically the cost burden on couples who are experiencing delay in procreation as a result of one fertility challenge or the other.

At St. Ives, we have identified cost as a major factor militating against stemming incidences of infertility in Nigeria. To this end, we have further been strengthened in our resolve to continuously make IVF accessible and relatively affordable to couples. Therefore, we urge interested couples to take this fifty percent (50%) discount advantage and register for the treatment within the period stated above.

That's today. You won't need to be sedated for this one and its not supposed to be painful,... though mine was. Just relax, a mock ET will be done before the actual ET. Tis well

All is in God's hands, keep praying and look unto Him
