Are you having fibroid/ovarian cyst? Apple cider vinegar(ACV) and organic blackstrap molasses(unsulphured) is your best bet. You can check previous threads on that or alternative to conceive thread. You can also Google search this two products. To order for apple cider and blackstrap molasses call/watsapp Segun Brown on 07033934416. Baby dust to us all

Hello mothers in the house,
Please i need your advice. I've been TTCing for about a year now. My hubby got a job which only brings him to lagos during the weekends.

After about 9months without conceiving we decided to do some tests. I did a pelvic scan, HSG(worst pain ever), blood tests...all came out fine. My hubby also did SFA, etc and he's count was over a 110M!. We went back to the hospital and i was told to do a progesterone test on day 21.

Result came back to say the level was about 2.7. I was so disappointed, i was placed on clomid cos the doctor believed i wasn't ovulating. I always believed i ovulated cos i usually get this sharp pain and OPKs showed positive at different times. I also kept track of my fertile window using the ovia fertility app.

I took a break last month and tried OPKs again. Usually i stop on day 20 when i do get positives believing i probably didnt ovulate. Yesterday was day 21 and i just said i should test since i had nothing to lose and to my amazement it was very positive! Two very strong lines appeared. (See attached)

The sad part is that I'm currently out of lagos on a work assignment so we don't get to BD till I'm back. Hubby also relocated finally to Lagos cos he couldn't continue traveling every week and felt it was affecting our TTC.

My major concern now i feel i should have conceived with all the timing, opks, etc.( P.S i was pregnant about 7yrs ago but i was still very young and didn't even know until i miscarried 6weeks later.)
Hubby believes i shouldn't see any doctor anymore and just wait for it to happen but was considering getting a second opinion as the hospital which i currently use(Eko hospital Ikeja) don't seem to be taking it seriously as i always have to wait endlessly before seeing a doctor and they are always in a hurry i guess cos they have many people lined up.
We're considering IUI and I need a hospital that is affordable and will give us undivided attention. Which do you recommended in Lagos?
Thanks

@crustypearl, you cud try georges lekki, or olive branch, same lekki too. they are fairly decent.
wow 110m sfa, ur hubby is super fertile.
during the iui, the docs would ask you to do follicular tracking, thats the only definitive way of being sure you ovulate and exact day too

Good morning mothers of great nations, please does anyone know any great fertility clinic in Netherlands especially The Hague, I will be there for 2 weeks and wanted to know if I could see a fertility specialist to rerun investigations. Please not just an Obstetrician or Gynaecologist but a hospital that also does ART(IVF/ IUI PROCEDURES). I need this info urgently as I would be there by weekend and I am finding it hard searching for one since there's a Dutch language barrier. CC:- fvine , sugah , seanbell , alwaystrue , loisemm , Ladyguinivere , sixx , twingirls , udoka2 ,inwangobio ,dreamsincbc , Arlington , psalm23 , prettymomma , Mumihaja , mamakendra , wonyi , Legendsmother , henmaris , agiboma , foe123 ,conyeama ,oleayo22 , ziondota , blendy77 and every other mother on this thread who can find information. Thank you.

@ praisefulmum am just seeing this ,i was incidentally @ the Hague about the same time,i suspect we were at the Hague for the same thing. But for what you want i think most people at the Netherlands go to Belgium.I understand ICSI was invented in Belgium,Belgium is about 2hrs 45mins from Netherlands by bus and i recall bus fee was just about 13euros even when i booked the night before.I went to Belgium for comprehensive medical checkup, and i will simply say they are wonderful people. They all speak good english so language will not be a barrier.Incidentally IVF is free up to 6 attempts if you live and work in Belgium. Can you imagine that?

Trucare fertility clinic does 5 days (blastocyst) embryo transfer. That's one of the reasons they have a high success rate.

drkay:

I suggest you shud inform your gynecologist when next you go for your infertility clinic, he/she has your history and will definitely know better than any other person. Most of the history that'll earn you the best medical advice can't be asked on a public forum but u can go for HVS mcs, urine mcs and a pelvic scan to rule out PID, UTI, uterine fibroid and ovarian cyst. Infection must be treated in both partners if there's evidence of infection in the report.
Before you start any procedure in a fertility clinic, all necessary investigation must be carried out. So don't worry your self just try TRUCARE fertility clinic besides they are having promo for now so u can call jumoke 08063468507 for more info

Hello fruitful mamas! Trust we r all doing gr8. Pls advise a sister who has been Ttcing for close to 5yrs.

I had an hsg 2months ago n was diagnosed of patent tubes with right perifimbrial adhesion n left hydrosalpinx.

I had a failed ivf last year n my new Gynae believed I can still have a natural conception even with the diagnosis. He placed me on antibiotics for over 2months now but theres no much improvement so far. Based on my research, ivf is the best option for me but have to cut off the tube with hydrosalpinx.

Should i keep trying or go straight to ivf.
Pls advise a sister.

Cc:wonyi, ladyG, henmaris, drkay and other sabi mamas.

God bless you all.
With my experience in a fertility clinic, I'll advise you go for the IVF because the tubes are so thin like noodles and once any thing happens to it, it mostly takes miracle to fix. Considering age and some other factor I'll encourage you go for the IVF. You can try TRUCARE fertility clinic. The promo is on going and it's going to end on the 22 of this month. So you can call jumoke 08063468507 for more info

Thank you jare. Help me tell am! Cos of that I no go trucare sef. Over marketing makes me believe they are too money conscious and it's all about business to them. If they are expertise at what they do they won't have to be marketing up and down like this. Their work would speak for them and their customers would help spread it.

My dear sisters, ive been going via alot since i announced my bfp. Unfortunately I lost my baby, had a missed miscarriage. I wouldn't wish ohss even to my enemy, ive been through hell.I had severe cramps n went to emergency n an untrasound was done only to find out my baby no longer had a heartbeat n had stopped growing at 6w5days. Before then the emergency had turned to my home due to OHSS. I had a worst case of it and bad news is it gets worst with pregnancy so i was in extreme pain. Breathing was a nightmare, had no sleeping position n was loosing my mind but yet i kept resisting just to ensure baby stays ok after reading from different sites how its a good sign n shows all is great. One night i almost lost my breath n DH rushed me to the hospital n guess what? 6.5litres of fluid was drained from my tummy. I looked 9 months pregnant. The draining was not painful n i was told it had no effect on baby since it was done by sending a catheter at one side of my stomach. The draining brought instant relief n after staying in the hospital for 3 days just to get fluids intravenously n for monitoring purpose,i was discharged. The same night i was discharged i started having severe cramps,y it started when i left the hospital i cant tell. I mean the cramps were so severe dat i couldn't sleep for days,i called the hospital severally n they kept assuring me it was normal and i should take tylenol but i guess they were assuming it was the light cramping in early pregnancy. After 3 days i couldn't take it anymore n sadly enough my bloating n OHSS had started again so i went back to the emergency. They checked everything n my beautiful foetus looked great besides the fluid build up again so i had to go in again for another draining. This time around,4.5litres of fluid was drained n i felt relieved from the bloating but the cramping didn't go yet the hospital found no reason for the cramps n concluded it may be bc my ovaries were still swollen from stims n egg retrieval so i was sent home. The entire week was a nightmare, with no sleep n cramping. I had an appointment for an ULTRASOUND at 7weeks only to be told baby stopped growing at 6w5d n there wasnt a heartbit. I was ask to wait for a week n return which i did n what was supposed to be 8weeks still showed baby was still at same 6w5d with no heartbit so i was told i had a missed miscarriage and baby will eventually pass out. I was given 3 options: to wait for my body to expell it naturally, take medication to induce miscarriage or a dnc. I opted to wait, after waiting for two weeks with all the signs of pregnancy such as sore boobs, metallic taste in mouth etc getting worst instead of decreasing,i opted for medication so i could relief myself n feel normal. Before taking the meds i went for another US on friday oct 7th which was supposed to be 10weeks pregnant to ensure it was actually over and got same results confirmed, baby at 6w5d with no heartbeat.i was prescribed misoprostol to insert vaginally (warning :TMI) gosh that night i had the worst crams ever,im used to cramps due to endometriosis but that one was something ive never felt before. 4 hours after inserting the meds i saw tissues come out of my body,i bleed lumps,oh dear was it heartbreaking,I cried to c my baby pass out but i thank God all this will soon be over so i can be myself again and look forward to whats next. OHSS may not be the cause of my lost but my dear sisters ensure u never get it as much as u can,i was stimulated just for 8 days with very small dose of puregon yet i got OHSS n went via all these trauma just to come out emty handed. Ive wept n cried my life throughout this month but i know its well reason y im brave enough to share my story.
Good luck to everyone,i will give myself time to recover before considering to do a FET with my remaining embryos n who knows Gods plan. I look forward to tomorrow bc i believe MY SORROWS R ACTUALLY TRANSPORTATION TO GREATER THINGS AHEAD (Joel Osteen). Baby dust to us all.
