THE future of Samson Siasia as Head Coach of the Super Eagles, subject of intense speculation after Nigeria's ouster from the 2012 Nations Cup on Saturday, would be determined after he must have replied a query issued him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Technical Committee of the NFF had late Saturday night at its emergency meeting following the 2-2 draw recorded by the Super Eagles against Guinea, decided to fire a memo to Siasia asking him to give reasons for Eagles' failure to qualify for the Nations Cup and why he should continue to hold onto his job as head of the coaching crew.

The result of the match marked the first time in 26 years that the country would be failing to play at the Nations Cup finals.
