plz guys, how do I indentify a china iphone? I nd 2gt one bt I m scared, dnt need a chinese product yet.

Most Chinese phones use same software.
So just take a chinese phone, look at the display and note it
When next u see a phone if it displays like that, its most likely its a chinese phone

Most of them are not running standard registered firmware and as such are not or have not been given correct IMEI from registry.
just type *#06# and you would not get any result. but registered firmware and phones should give u about 15 digit numbers if. Do it and let me know cos am not in Nigeria and we do not have the phones over here.

In my over 10 years of GSM repairs, I have not seen a single China phone that doesnt have a 15 digit IMEI by *#06#

They are excessively loud,try playing a song with it.

China Iphone come with an antenna,they also give you access to nigerian T.V stations, trust me, you can't miss them when you see them

u are right on point my china fone's gat IMEI. thier screen layout (font type, size and colour scheme) are almost always the same (same software) so just navigate one of em, u wont miss another when u see it work.

Question: How Do I Indentify A China Iphone?

Answer: Simple, switch it off and switch it on again- If it gives you a distinctively loud polyphonic welcome tone, it is from China. Also go to the market with a magnifying lens. Place the name and logo under the magnifying lens to see that iPhone is not IPhone, JPhone, 1Phone, lPhone !Phone or 7Phone. If it has a TV forget it, if it is shinny forget it, if it is too cheap to believe forget it.

If you buy a phone in a 3rd world country, its very likely to be a 'china' phone.

These phones are tested to maintain the agreed specs especially the ones going to 1st world destinations.

So iphones going to the Uk shops will be of better quality than those going to Nigeria all from CHINA.

broda, just locate d bluetooth and u open it, immdtly u do dat, c it cycling, dats for africa china, but for an original nokia phone, u see a tab for on bluetooth, show phone visibility and phone name. etc. u dig?

4.if it has radio
5.if it has less than 16gb hard disk

7. if you find it hard controlling the touch screen

lol, my cuz bought a china Torch in London, when you power it , it is LOUD. there's a Chinese/Asian girl short video that comes up. it was heavy, had 2 sim slots and didn't have bbm obviously, the posters are correct. . he threw the phone out after comparing it to my Torch.

beta stil if u insert mtn or etisalat sim for the first time, auto gprs setting wil be sent, but if they tel u sory device cant be configured auto, try manual seting, run!
Or send settings as a msg to 3888 wit mtn and if u get a mesage, ur device not suported, run oh!
