An arrest has been made in connection with the child abuse case involving Princess
Folasade Bankole, the General Manager of the NTA In Ado Ekiti.

Sahara Reporters has learnt that a relative of Princess Bankole was arrested and detained by operatives of the National Agency for Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and other Related Matters (NAPTIP) on Friday.

In a telephone interview, Princess Bankole confirmed that her aunt, Mrs. Ronke Okusanya, had been taken by NAPTIP officials but did not know why she was arrested.

However, Sahara Reporters has learnt that Okusanya was arrested by NAPTIP on suspicion of harboring a “trafficked” 16-year-old girl on behalf of Princess Bankole. She was detained at the police station in Iyin-Ekiti awaiting transfer to Abuja for further investigations.

Rascals.
See the pretty girl they have given such a horrible mark, alongside her trauma. We need to have stronger child protection laws in the country; those who commit such crimes need to be automatically banned from holding political leadership posts.

How can a normal person torture a kid with a pressing iron?

Please tell me like all Nigerians nothing will ever shock you - I have learned of sad situations that will make you hide in disgust. A 15-yr old got pregnant for her Oga, after her parents were paid N12,000 i.e N1k per month to Clean the House, Wash Clothes, Cook and also Sell Recharge Cards in front of her oga's house (doubling as Security). Apparently the N12,000 did not cover servicing her Oga. who after getting her pregnant threw her out of his house. She lost the pregnancy and now sells recharge cards in a ghetto community on Lagos Island. Imagine what trauma this child has faced and she is not even 20 years old yet.

As usual you file a case and report culprits - it stays buried.
