Does God Show Favor Or Preferential Treatment? by chowbaby: 8:04pm On Oct 31, 2011
There are some people who thrive greatly on this earth.  They have wealth beyond measure, health, family, education, and have a strong faith.  Then there are others who may have a strong faith but still suffer greatly. They are poor, sick, have a bad marriage, and nothing ever works out for them etc.  Why is this?  Both of these people are believers and live a good Christian life.  Does God show preference for some over others?  Why does it seem like some people just suffer more?

This is where I think the laws of karma come into place.

Jehovah Impartial. Jehovah says that he “treats none with partiality nor accepts a bribe.” (De 10:17; 2Ch 19:7) The apostle Peter said, when God sent him to declare the good news to the uncircumcised Gentile Cornelius: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”—Ac 10:34, 35; Ro 2:10, 11.
Jehovah, the Creator and Supreme One, cannot be challenged on his decisions and actions. He can do as he pleases with what he has created and does not owe anyone anything. (Ro 9:20-24; 11:33-36; Job 40:2) He deals with individuals or groups, even nations, according to his purpose and his own appointed time. (Ac 17:26, 31) Nevertheless, God is impartial. He rewards each person, not according to his outward appearance or possessions, but according to what he is and what he does. (1Sa 16:7; Ps 62:12; Pr 24:12) His Son Jesus Christ follows the same impartial course.—Mt 16:27.

What does this mean. You say he chooses to treat people how he pleases and we should not question. So he is choosing to treat some better than others?

God shows favour!!!! oh yes!!!! to people he chooses, but he is no respecter of persons, just because he has chosen you to favour you does not mean, he will punish like any other person if you offend him.

It goes beyond the physical, you will know only if the person allows God to lead the way in his life, Our God is all knowing, though it might seem difficult for us as human to understand what he is doing, but when you allow Him, that there! (which is an act of faith) allows favour in every aspect of life. Spiritually, you have Favour with God and man, in everythinhg you do, you see a breakthrough, no matter what the problem would be, there are hinderances (those are the signs that God has His Eye on you), His protection would be on you. You pray, He answers, (even if you do not see immediate results), you are content with what you have, Doors (after the test of time) begin to suddenly open for you. People who did not notice you before, begin to notice you. you are healthy, people see the Glory of God and praise Him just because they see the light through you, you have this joy and peace that surpasses understanding, And so on.
