I do not think Yobo deserve any national award from oga Janna, Yobo has been on the Eagle line up for ten year with no trophy to show for is effort. Under same period our super falcon players has brought this country different honour or the other, and i don't think any of them has been honour by our their country.

i think our former super falcons players viz mercy akide,perpetua nkwocha deserve awards not wack trophyless yobo,even why dont nff organise friendlies for our female team.

I think he is a total crap player. Util Nigeria coaches realised that Nigeria will never get anywhere. He is not the only player other are Michel, Ayegbeni, Ehutu, Kaita, Obase.

This guy has actually as a central defender scored vital goals for us, is there any other premiership defender that has won more man of the match awards, please tell me.

Finally compared to others who have been given these awards I find him a breath of fresh air.

I do not agree with you. Yobo responds to national call whenever he is fit to play. I see the national award more as a reward for his loyalty to the nation even in difficult times. I recall he once had a ruffle with his Everton Coach because he opted to play at the nation's cup when Everton supposedly need him most. He was confined to the bench for a long time after that.

Make no mistake, I am no Yobo fan at all because I think his dwindling form and leadership failure was part of what cost us the nations's cup ticket we lost to Guinea. But this award is well deserved. He is a loyal and patriotic fella!!
