Well, am one, I work with an fmcg company, came into sales by accident but i must confess i couldnt have been elsewhere better. The pressure can be much at times but the parameters of measurement are clear enough. The most fufilling part of it is to see a customer that was once managing to limp grow under you.

Hw is your sales job like?

Am a salesman and business owner.i sell educational services like british dictiön/phonics,french,spanish,german language consulting to private schools in lagos and ogun states.the job is interesting and rewarding.my target is always #150,00

Nope. Sales and marketing are very different activities and disciplines. Though they work together, but don't do the same things.

I am an Engineer by profession currently working but recently got involved with Network Marketing its a great excitement but i think i dont have the skills to for the marketing part, i am reading books, but i think its a different ball game entirely when you are on the feed. and for those willing to market like the earlier guy said u can contact me. Am a sales manager, I work with an international Logistics/supply chain management company, part of the largest Shipping company in the world from Denmark. I like my job but its a close loop reward system, meaning, your salary is stable irrespective of your sales wins.

The job is quite tough and challenging cos you are competing with local logistics company. Our targets are large manufacturing/trading companies who have high volume of import/export.

My background is electrical engineering but i have a Post graduate in Shipping.

I am a sales man (Business Development Manager) in the Oil and Gas Industry. I sell very very expensive equipment and services to both the Oil Majors (Shell, Chevron, Total, Agip) and the smaller independent crude oil producers (PANOCEOAN, AFREN, MUNI PULO etc).

I am directly responsible for meeting a minimum yearly turnover of $3,000,000 for my company.

My pay is really cool and i really really love my job. Though sometimes it involves too much domestic and international travel.
