Ayusman!Ayusman!!Ayusman!!!

Good job spreading the hate.

Thats what the Hutus did in Rwanda.Preached hate and got about 1million people killed.

Go on and get Hitv 'killed' but know this,what goes around comes around.

If u dont stop the hate campaign,u will soon have a taste of what u are spreading.Its just too sure.

Just watch out.

Before u open and shoot, i'll suggest u consider this,

(1) what would do if u've paid almost 70k spead over 5 months and u not gotten 1k worth of service
(2) If in AUg u had "no access" in problem for over 10days and got no xplanation nor compensation
(3)U currently have "No or bad signal" for also 10days with little or no hope of being resolved.
(4) Burning valuable airtime daily calling their helpline with promises of it's being resolved but no hope,
(5) Misrepresentation, deceit and exploitation on their parts

How would feel, ? i can't exploit and dont want anybody to do same to me, so what is going to come around to me? If u aint got explation or solution to their problems why not keep mute instead of running ur mouth like tap water, am sure it's ur type that support Etteh (a renowned thievng hairdresser) and also would organised heroic reception for the likes of Alams,

HIThieVes have disappointed many and i promise, they would run down by the time i finish with them, Watch and see!
Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by Nobody: 7:38am On Oct 23, 2007
@damoche,

See, nobody is actually preaching hatred here, we are Nigerians and really want these guys to prove that Nigerians can be better that those South Africans when it comes to packaging stuff like television but lol, they are embarrasing Nigerians with the way they are doing their stuff.

Like ayusman said, for 12 days now, they have been showing "BAD OR NO SIGNAL" on their terrestial platform to those getting their signal from their Ikeja re-transimission station and some poeple wants us to keep quiet. What are they suppose to do?

1. Take newspaper ads to explain the issues to subscibers in that area ( Not very good for their P.R, I must confess!)

2. I believe they now database to some extent about their subscribers and thus the bases they are getting their feed, then with this info, they can send SMS to those affected, telling them not to bother wasting time to come to their office and not to keep calling the installer and harrasing the poor innocent guy.

3. Keeping the folks at their customer services center ( those ones don't know a jack!) updated with current situation of things in the organisation (both the tech issues and marketing stuff).

With these and some good marketing savvy, i believe they will be able to handle most of the issues.

pls, lest I forget, my own is still available for grab grin grin .

@ayusman16,
bros thanks for the call, really appreciated it, and like i said on the phone, we really want them to succeed and please don't be deterred by those that "talk". Let them offer solutions and not their own variant of hatred.

@all poeple affected, lets give them till the end of this month to get it resolve and after then we will come back to decide on the next course of action.
Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by ayusman16(m): 2:59pm On Oct 23, 2007
I think Damoche is one of their staff, don't worry u know where pple like u end up,

@Ilugunboy,
Do u think only givin them till month end would do? They need to compensate those affected and apologise properly.

@All

Do we think any good thing would ever come out of Nigeria? With all these deceits around the country? We shouldnt pretend but try and make this things work, I rest my case until month end but honestly still dont mind selling it.
Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by damoche07(m): 6:00pm On Oct 23, 2007
Ayusman, i am amused at your tirades and i guessed from your response what your personality might be.I didint have good pictures,honestly.

I didn't warn u to abuse but to caution u on the way u are going about your campaign.I can also see that u have gained some disciples in the course of your campaign over the months.U didn't just start the hate campaign 2 or 3months ago.(Ur records show that)u have been a champion of it and your constitency and determination gives gives me goose pimples.It amazes me,gaskiya.

Ayusman,HITV is crap, agreed and the terrestial platform has been off for days,yes.its terrible and it cant just be more terrible.However,it wont take a lot of wisdom to see the difference in your posts and that of Ilugunboy who is genuinely bitter with the company and rightly so.Ayusman,if the advent of HITV has bruised you in anyway,pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaase find a way of getting over it.

Statements like, 'they will run down by the time i finish with them', 'dont worry u know where people like u end up','u are one of those supporting Etteh' are meant to be found with those guys at the motor parks not a Nairalander.

@Ilugunboy.HITV is crap and we are all angry but dont join in any campaign of hatred cosi repeat what goes around comes around.Vent your frustration but dont become a disciple of hate

Have a great day.

Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by ayusman16(m): 10:36pm On Oct 23, 2007
@Damoche

Didnt want to say anything about them until they resolve the probs esp after speaking at length with Ilugunboy but am surprised that ur pipe has broken and u are now gushing out uncontrollably, U started dis insult thing by saying 'what goes around comes around' (read ur post again) when it's obvious u know who is messing up. Let me tell u something, it's a public forum where av got equal right as u to criticise and contribute whenever i like,

Since it's now obvious that u r an insider with the HIThieVes; why not provide meaningful solution or xplanation to the problems. Do u know how many times av spoken to their ogas and they seems more confused than u? why do have to promote deceit?

Don't know why u even av to compare this issue with the genocide in Rwanda (or u thnk Nairalanders are as dumb as u r), it's d most senseless comparism av ever heard.

Yes, av been consistent with my stance against them but dat doesnt mean i dont want them to succeed or wont sing a new song when they start performing but i just detest loud mouth like u who turn their backs against justice and misrepresentations.

For the last time, it's my money and av got the right to get my money's worth, Pls if u dont av a solution or contribution to their problems. STAY OFF MY BACK, ignore my postings!!!

If dstv is trash, then what is hitv?

I think u should be concerned as an insider in telling hitv to put it's house in order than making empty promises when some pple cannot even watch for over 13days, (no apologies, no sms, no turn around time, subscription is still running, customer care are as confused as ever),
Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by niyi09(m): 12:20pm On Oct 24, 2007
you guys should not take this issue personal.we all know hitv service is bad for now.lets give them till the end of the year.
Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by Nobody: 1:12pm On Oct 24, 2007
@niyi09

yeah!, you can afford to give them till end the year to improve on their service, but then we subscibers that are being completely denied of service cannot, thats why we are giving them till end of this month to either restore service to the ikeja sub-head or we will carry placards to go and embarrass them @ ebute-metta.

@ayusman16 (my main guy) & damoche, please let call a truce and put our energies on how to get hitv to perfom.
Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by damoche07(m): 4:52pm On Oct 24, 2007
Ayusman,i don't work,own or know HITV.I work in a industry far from theirs.

When i say what goes around comes around,i mean when u intentionally spread hate u will definetely reap hate.I sincerely meant it to be a caution not an abuse,honestly.I was just amazed at your constitency over the months.i couldnt help but try to caution u.

HITV is a company am hugely interested in.Its Nigerian and novel in that sector.We need to encourage our compamnies who dare venture into territories that have been led by foreigners.it will definetely rub off on us whether we agree on us.More jobs,capital retention,new technologies,Prestige and so on.We can only dothis by venting our frustration in a constructive way.As i have said earlier,HITV is crap for now but that industry is one in which Nigerians have little experience.We need to continue pressurising them as we are doing but we must not hate them.We must not campaign for their death as u have been doing.

I repeat,i have no financial stake in HITV but i really pray for their success.Its Nigerian.

However,i was still amused at your phillipics,tirades,abuses and violent Insults.Come on,can't u do with some criticisms.You have to learn to,please.In deference to Ilugunboy's(I wonder what that means), i will start directing my energy towards constructively criticising and encouraging them HITV.I am also calling for a truce though i dont believe there was any disagreement but please tone down the hatred,criticising is better.

Take care.

@Damoche,

Really sorry about my outburst, shouldnt have poured that on u but u can't imagine what av gone thru in the past 2months, Anyway, just hope they succeed and put their acts together, Just like last month when Medube and one other chap assisted lots of pple here to resolve the 'no access' issue; think we can do same, their insider should pass the messages across to them. lipsrsealed

@Ilugunboy,
Thanks for ur advice too. wink

@All
Let dedicate next week for fasting and prayers so that hitv would improve and make us Nigerians proud for once. grin grin grin

Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by Nobody: 8:23pm On Oct 24, 2007
@damoche,

you are wondering about the meaning of my name right?

Ilugun is a small part of the town in Abeokuta, and am from there.

My house in Lagos is called "LISABI VILLA". Lisabi happens to be my progenitor.

Just for you to know that am very proud of my root and will always identify with my "source" anyday.

ENOUGH!

Re: Any New Channels On HiTV Satellite? by tboy81(m): 11:32am On Oct 26, 2007
Haba! Quadruple ke!!!! shocked :oWhat will Man Utd win then? (remember we've started averaging 4 goals/game and our new players av fully integrated now??

Anyways sha, has the problem with the Ikeja terrestial site been resolved now, cos am on d satellite package? abi dem neva bring the equipment from 'France' grin grin

Also how have u guys been paying ur subscriptions (cos i did not have to pay in October due to their "free" offer) and also how fast does it take to effect the subscription if have i have to pay at any GTB Branch. (Going to their Ebuta-Metta office will be too far for me).

They also said they'll introduce paying using their recharge cards soon, though i doubt if they'll do that soon.

I wanna make sure i don't have any 'subscription suspended' problem on Nov. 3rd (when Man U will 'gun down' the gunners grin grin grin)
