UAE grants 3 years employment visa to 170 ex- militants

The post-amnesty programme of the Federal Government for ex-militants of the Niger Delta region received a boost on Thursday as the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), granted a three-year employment visa for over 170 youths undergoing six months vocational training in the country.

The militants are being trained in crane operations, pipeline welding, electrical installations and health safety and environment at the International Centre for Non- Violence and Peace Development in UAE.

According to the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Matters, Kingsley Kuku, the three-year employment visa is part of the collaboration between the government of the UAE and Nigeria to support the amnesty programme, even as plans are afoot to secure job placement for the youths in oil and gas companies in the UAE and other Middle East countries after the completion of their vocational programme.

Kuku explained that the employment visa was the first any country in the world would be granting the ex-militants under the programme.

About 4000 of them have been in south africa for '' rehabilitation'' it was in our local paper yesterday but they have been doing nothing but trashing the hotel they have been staying at the owner of the place was complaining i think at some point he was demanding payment and they took him hostage! Lol! In his own hotel. Anyway only a few hundred are left at the hotel the rest have dissappered into the country.

See beyond all of this buddy, This is all part of the grand design to Islamise Nigeria. I won't be surprised if Asari Dokubo cut this deal with UAE during His Hajj this year to Saudi Kingdom. He and some of His Terrorist brothers May have met over a cup of tea.

We are watching. When this guys come back in 3 years and start terrorising the South Boko Haram way, the agenda will become clearer.

You should blame their leader Asari Dokubo. Wasn’t he fighting against the northern regime that maimed his people, killed the only true freedom fighter Ken Saro Wiwa? But in the end he sold his people for little money, converted to Islam the religion of the north. So tell me what kind of freedom fighter he was or is? UAE government do not support terrorism, if you must know. the military engage in steady exchange of fire with the terrorist faction available frequently, untill they were kept quiet.
