New Vehicle Number Plate Rip Off: let's all reject this plot by the greedy group within Aso Rock to add to the burden of struggling Nigerians by asking us to buy their new plate between 35 to 70k. All vehicle in the country is expected to be registered AGAIN by next year. Of what significance or importance is the change on the plate? Let's shout 'thief' to them. We should use the IT power in our hands to tell them we are not stupid, and will not allow the next President to also change the Nigeria map to coat of arms on the plate so his wife can likewise handle the contract and rip us off.
Our BB/yahoo/etc is now our voice as the national assembly is in limbo or otherwise compromised. Pls let's re-broadcast till it gets to someone that will rescue Nigerians from this nightmare!!!!
If this move is sincere, why don't they ask us to get d new plates free or for a token like #1,000 when we submit our old number plates? If you bought your car in october, 2011, you paid #35,000 to register. Now in December, 2011 u have to cough out #40,000 to get d new plate. Why? This nonsense must stop.
