Will Nigerian ever have an hero. People talk of Abraham Lincoln till tomorrow, Clinton, Bush, Margret Thatcher, Mahtma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela praising them to high heaven people even keep their picture etc. But our own Tafawa Balewa, The great Zik of Africa, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Aguyi Ironsi, Gowon, Muritala Mohammed, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Shagari, Buhari, Babangida, Shonekan, Abacha.Who are our own hero are refile and vilified. If IBB was as bad as a few Nigerians claim on a regular, he wouldn't have received as many visitors as reported when he was in the hospital. It got to a point that there wasn't enough space at the hospital to accommodate all these visitors from all over the world; absolutely unbelievable.
How many visitors do you think would have visited German hospital if OBJ or Shagari or Gowon was the one in the hospital? Or how many visited Ojukwu in London?
