Former captain of Super Eagles, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa of VVV Venlo of Holland, former African Women Player of the Year, Perpetua Nkwocha, were among the nominees
Okocha was nominated for the Legend Award while Perpetua Nwokcha who distinguished herself at the last African Women’s Championship in South Africa was nominated for Women Footballer of the Year.

Musa, who played for the Flying Eagles at the last World Cup in Colombia, and also featured for both the national U-23 side was nominated for Most Promising Talent of the Year Award.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Thursday, December 22, at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra, Ghana.
