came across dis new staying healthy method of eating, and i thought to share- in summarry human beings are classified into six main blood types, and according to Dr Dadamo, each individual blood type is designed to process certain kinds of food, once you go against the food type your blood is tuned too, there is a high likelihood of falling ill or not living life to the full.



Developed by naturopathic physician Peter J. D'Adamo, the GenoType Diet outlines how to make dietary and lifestyle choices based on your body type and genetic make-up



■Hunter
Tall and athletic, with a square jaw. Prone to inflammatory diseases such as allergies and rheumatoid arthritis. Blood type O.
If you have a hunter profile, you will need to limit most dairy items and many grains. You can enjoy beef and venison on the diet, as well chicken and turkey. Your fish options include bass, herring and mackerel, and you may have chicken eggs as well as butter. Some of the nuts and legumes on your food list include almonds, black beans and black-eyed peas. You can choose from among many live foods as well, including broccoli, okra, asparagus and sweet potato. Fruits on the hunter food list include lemons and limes, passion fruit, mangoes, peaches, pears, pineapples and watermelon.


■Gatherer
Emotional temperament and usually have a high BMI. Often have a history of crash dieting and have problems with appetite regulation. Blood type O or B.
Gatherers have to limit most red meats and poultry, as well as many nuts, seeds and legumes. As a gatherer, you can enjoy lamb, mutton and turkey, as well as a wide variety of fish, including carp, haddock and tilapia. Gatherers can have chicken and duck eggs, as well as cottage cheese. You can enjoy a wide variety of vegetables, including all types of onions, most mushrooms and many peppers. Other vegetables on your food list include asparagus, zucchini, spinach, tomato, celery, water chestnut and turnip greens. You have many fruits from which to choose as well, such as apricot, grapefruit, nectarine, papaya, peach, raspberry and watermelon.



■Teacher
Naturally flexible and enthusiastic nature. Susceptible to bacterial infections. Blood type A and sometimes AB.
If you have a teacher body type, you need to limit many red meats and some poultry. You can have mutton and turkey, as well as fish such as tuna and cod. You can consume various legumes and nuts including almonds, peanuts, pecans, lentils and peas. Some grains on your foods list are quinoa, rice and wheat. You can enjoy many live foods as well, such as artichoke, avocado, carrot, cabbage and zucchini, plus all onions and many mushrooms. The fruit list for teachers include blueberries and raspberries, kiwi, grapefruit, pineapple, nectarine and papaya



■Explorer
Muscular, adventurous and intelligent. Sensitive to caffeine and medications. Any blood type but often Rh-negative.
If you have an explorer body type, then you will need to limit a few common food items, including ham, bacon and most eggs and cheeses. Red meat and poultry items that you can consume include lamb, mutton, rabbit, turkey and quail. You can have goose and quail eggs, as well as mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Many nuts and legumes can be found on the explorer food list, including macadamia nuts and pecans, lentils and peas, rice and millet, quinoa and wheat. Live foods and fruits you can consume include carrots, asparagus, broccoli, radishes, onions, raspberries, pineapple and watermelon, as well as both iceberg and romaine lettuce.



■Warrior
Charismatic and highly strung. Often age prematurely. Blood type A or AB.
Warriors must limit all red meats and many poultry items on the GenoType Diet. As a warrior, you can enjoy most seafood, including octopus, escargot and mussels, as well as many fish, from red snapper and perch to salmon and trout. You can have chicken eggs and cottage cheese as well. You can consume various grains, including lentils, oats, quinoa, rice and wheat, as well as many nuts and legumes, such as pecans, peas and pinto beans. Your live foods and fruit options include broccoli, asparagus, artichoke, celery, cucumber, onions, spinach, iceberg and romaine lettuce, as well as apples, peaches, plums, grapes and strawberries




■Nomad
Very tall or short. Quiet, optimistic and rational nature. Often have sensitive digestive systems. Blood type B or AB.
Nomads on the GenoType Diet need to limit many common foods, including many red meats and poultry, as well as most nuts and seeds. As a nomad, you can enjoy lamb, mutton and turkey on the diet, as well as many fish, such as salmon, catfish and halibut. You can have a variety of grains, from millet and oats, to quinoa, rice and kudzu. Your live foods list is expansive and includes alfalfa sprouts, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, eggplant, zucchini, onions, many peppers and mushrooms, as well as iceberg and romaine lettuce. Fruits include strawberries, tangerine and watermelon
