Please does anyone know how many gigabytes Airtel allocate for their monthly BIS plan(N3,000)? It says "Unlimited"(yea right!) on their webpage but "fair usage applies" with no further explanation.

Also can anyone shed light on their new "BSM"(N1,200) plan? What are the pros and cons?

It's quite embarrassing all this information isn't available on their website and their customer care is meh!

I think its 2 different plan
One is 1200 while the other is 1400
That of 1200 doesnt allow email setup i presume and while that of 1400 has wit an additional 1.

One is BB complete and the other is BB message!

There is a big difference between the 1200 plan and the 1400 plan. Called customer care and they explained it. The 1200 is Social plan. while the 1400 is complete plan having the same feature with Glo (1400) and Mtn (1500) except for the data plan which is 1GB. I just subscribed today and it is damn fast, well i guess for now oo. Before a lot join sha. Text BCM to 440.

Airtel doesn't ever give unlimited mb. They must apportion it based on bundle u subscribe.

There is a big difference between the 1200 plan and the 1400 plan. Called customer care and they explained it.

Whenever i try to call their CC, the line just drops after i hold for an "agent" for some time.

I've been trying 111, do they have another number?

Their BSM and BCM is 1gb that is what am using on my modem to browse now.Their network fluctuates on my Torch.GSM to EDGE and the 3G

Network providers are fraudulent. They just say the amount and they won't say the amount of data

The data cap for the N3000 package is 1GB.

I left airtel two months ago when their 1gb became insufficient. @topic it is 1gb and not 3gb

For B I S Plan, I think Etisalat has a better package since #1000 can pay for it. Although Airtel did Browse well on my Nokia Phone Via Operamini but for now i dnt use it again.

airtel's new bb plans look kinda dodgy. they don't give much information on them and they expect people to subscribe. SMH

i know for a fact that airtel BIS bundle has a data Cap of 1g,was at their office and got to confirm this after paying my own 3000 naira.to check your data press *123*10#

as an insider, i tell you that it's 1gb. it used to be 3gb until about 4months back when there was data adjustments. it was ALMOST impossible (then) to exhaust the 3gb on a bb phone then (with it's compression rates).

guess what? now, it's possible to exhaust ur 1gb in 3 days. it just depends on your usage!!
