Appfriqs launches AYO! for mobile devices. The game popular in Nigeria and West Africa is now available on Android and soon on iPhone, iPad and Blackberry. This traditional strategy game played on hand crafted game board by two people facing each other over two rows of six holes. Each player places seeds in each of their six holes and takes turns in playing with the player that captures the most seeds in their home wins.

The game has been developed to make it more accessible to African youths and all lovers of the game worldwide. Whilst the game is traditionally played on a board, we have taken great care to recreate the traditional wood effect of the game board and by making it interactive we ensure the game can still be played as it was intended; against a friend with each player sitting on opposite sides of their mobile devices.

Ayo Mobile has been developed with 3 levels of difficulty (easy, hard or expert) which has been based around the various rules of the game that abound. This, ensures that players are able to progress from the easy game to test their mantle against the computer or a friend at the expert level.
