He already sent his helmsmen, firstly was Minister of Police affairs,Caleb Olubolade who visited on d very Dec. 25th,next was the Interior Minister, and then Health Minister,Prof. Chukwu, and other key figures.GEJ should hv steered clear of the site,if he knew he'd be visiting a week later.

Re: Gej Visits Xmas Day Bombing Site, 6 Days After! by Nobody: 4:00pm On Dec 31, 2011
do you expect him to visit a terrorist attack site immediately without security clearance?
have u ever heard of secondary attacks in the fallout of a bomb blast scene meant to target rescue and emergency units, crowds and also dignitaries?
or how do u expect him to tackle the BH from mere visiting a site when he is supposed to be having consultative briefs from all security chiefs, diplomatic sources, etc.

i bet if he went on the same day of the blast u guys will still come out to say he was just showing face.

stop criticizing GEJ unnecessarily.

It was an after thought. He wasnt supposed to go at all. His advisers must have warned of a secondary device.

Hopes he does that. The only reason why he wouldn't want to do that is this http://seeafrica..com/2011/12/freedom-of-religion-and-boko-haram-in_31.html

GEJ own nobody nothing! Call on ur God. GEJ did the right thing not visiting immediately. U guyz should leave GEJ alone.
Re: Gej Visits Xmas Day Bombing Site, 6 Days After! by Nobody: 4:32pm On Dec 31, 2011
Please lets join hands and support GEJ to complete his tenure in whatever way we can.

I used to criticise him given his performance in the past but have now come to realise we MAY be stuck with this clueless individual for the next 3 years. His performance is so low he can trip on it and fall over.

GEJ reflects the attitude of a President who lacks the will, intelligence and charisma to lead a country like Nigeria. I doubt if he would even do well as a local government chairman. It is a lesson to the Nigerian electorate that not everyone who seeks political office in Nigeria might have the qualities to provide the kind of leadership we require. Next time we will vote wisely.

For now, lets all adjust our seating positions on the molue driven by GEJ until we get to 2015.
Re: Gej Visits Xmas Day Bombing Site, 6 Days After! by Nobody: 4:39pm On Dec 31, 2011
For those criticizing Jonathan, has GOD visited the "Church" after the bombing yet I doubt if HE will ever visit. Jonathan should have stayed home at Bayelsa for the Festivities, I wonder why he wouldnt resign from that God forsaken job and leave the job to an average yahoo-chatting, nairaland blogging and Buhari-loving slowpokes chatting their nonsense on Nairaland.
Re: Gej Visits Xmas Day Bombing Site, 6 Days After! by Nobody: 4:41pm On Dec 31, 2011
Just when you think Mr Jonathan can not get worse than he is,he just goes on to lower the bar for poor leadership.
At times I just wonder why we are saddled with such an inept leader?
When he was Vice President ,he complained that he was schemed out of the the running of government, what of now that you are President and all the paraphernalia of government is in your hands?
While he is possy footing all over the place like some one who has attained power and does not know what to do with it,The Boko Haram terrorists are  busy planning their next attack.
WHO KNOWS WHERE THE NEXT BOMBS WILL GO OFF?
Re: Gej Visits Xmas Day Bombing Site, 6 Days After! by Nobody: 4:44pm On Dec 31, 2011
I was shocked that all the people killed at "far North, Niger State" are Igbos, wtf are they doing up there ? And all the igbos of this world and Ohaneze's havent issued any warnings and even the so called MEND and Uwazuruike has been mum abt the entire triba-religous murder of their lineage. Do not blame Presido, all States have been given security votes and we should be blaming the Haramic Mallams who sponsor all these mayhem in a quest for ND-type amnesty. E no go happen!!!
Re: Gej Visits Xmas Day Bombing Site, 6 Days After! by LEXYLOV: 5:18pm On Dec 31, 2011
Seems he is scare too. An action c in c would have done that under 72 hours of the incident. But we all know that this is a square peg head of state though. shocked undecided

The guy's helicopter flew over my house. I come dey wonder say who dey fly helicopter for Abj? Not knowing that it just crossed his memory to go to Madalla today; six full days after.

In organized countries, should it take the SSS more than 2 days to sweep and clear the area for such a visit? I wonder o!
