Fellow Nigerians, don't be "flagawhelmed" and "Overbasted" when you see the sudden increase in the number of bicycles in our country, We can be a replica of China since we have the same high populatn, though our reasons wud b different. China use bicycle for easy mobility because of the "over-population", While we can use it on the pretence of "over-corruption."

Once Lagosians start getting bicycles, our dear greedy Fashola will immediately ask FRSC to print and approve plate numbers for Bicycles ooooo,. that is Naija for you, police sef go start to dey do stop and search for bicycles users, watch it. No Govt wants Nigerians to survive, it is just that simple, and we must fight back to survive.
Re: Bicycle Vs Other Means Of Land Transportation! by Nobody: 1:46pm On Jan 03, 2012
Good exercise, whilst saving money. A bicycle is a good idea for short trips. An automobile uses more fuel on short trips, whereby the engine never reaches its optimum operating temperature. Stop-start traffic on a 3-mile trip is also a fuel guzzler.

A bicycle is the obvious solution here.

Bicycles? At your own risk.
1. Will bicycle survive rainy season?
2. If there are 100 bicycles in a packing lot, how will you identify your own.
3. Any guarantee on the bicycle security locks, to avoid it being stolen or snatched at gun-point.
4. Are there enough bicycle repairers in Nigeria?

Trust the Nigerian system. By the time we have a sizeable number of bicycles, they will start number plates, taxes and all other ways to sxtort from bicycle owners
