@web_master: You might want to try computer village if you don't mind playing old stuff.
The stores here seem to want to make a profit on every unit of games they sell but are your best bet for new shit.
I use Omagames. High price but I'd spend the cash on something else anyway.
If you have relatives abroad who travel in and out, i'd suggest having them hook you up. (best option)

Hello Everyone,

Am new to gaming with XBOX 360 Slim, i haven't even powered the console on -why? i just got it from the US and its a 110V adapter - our normal stepdown here is not helping -amber light only.

I read on the internet though that if i buy a normal 220V adapter (for the SLIM) that has the same rating (Output -12V, 120W) i should be fine.

Any ideas where i can get the power adapter at a reasonable prize?

Also i would like to get the Nike + Kinect (NTSC) - Any one got suggestions?

You can get a universal adapter at computer village. Same one I use on my 360 slim.

Thanks tiwola: any idea how much you got yours? Though I found an alternative today an Akai1500va stabilizer that had an in-built step down did the trick.
