Rooting for Victorian and Maria so we can get an Azarenka vs Sharapova final. D grunt-o-meter will surely be broken.

The women's defending champion is OUT!

Azarenka is through to the Finals; she beat Clijsters 6-4 1-6 6-3.

Now for Sir Roger vs Rafa. My heart and head say Federer, but my instincts tell me Nadal still has Roger in mental bondage when it comes to Grand slam meetings.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 9:28am On Jan 26, 2012
That was a great fight from MaSha, Only her makes as many double faults in a match and still wins grin grin grin grin

True, But this is the Aussie open and Fed's second favourite surface after the wimby's grass
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 9:55am On Jan 26, 2012
3-0 to Fed in the first set
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by montelik(m): 9:56am On Jan 26, 2012
Break on Nadal's first service game  shocked. Sir Roger is in a hurry.

Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Egbagirl(f): 10:24am On Jan 26, 2012
I'm beginning to feel Fed is high! Waaaay too many unforced errors! The 1st set could have been over already!

Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 10:40am On Jan 26, 2012
First set to Fed, 7-5 on tie break
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by montelik(m): 10:41am On Jan 26, 2012
I smell another 5 set battle between these two.

Same here! This is just going to be unnecessary high blood pressure early in the morning. *sigh*

Santino1:

First set to Fed, 7-5 on tie break

If he had lost, twould have been terrible for him!
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 11:10am On Jan 26, 2012
Damn Fed, you don't just give Nadal a break like that
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by member67023: 11:13am On Jan 26, 2012
Final before the final.
The rivalry continues,

Federer's forehand is still a killer any day, any time.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by damas11111(m): 11:19am On Jan 26, 2012
I hate the fireworks! I hope the break favours Federer though.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 11:24am On Jan 26, 2012
Second set to Rafa, 6-2, Now, I hate this
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by montelik(m): 11:47am On Jan 26, 2012
Nadal has a clear mental hold on Roger. Federer needs to clear his head or it might not be a 5 set game.
