can some1 explain wat happened to li na? undecided

I concluded the match was over during at the start of the 2nd set n went to sleep. Apparently she's seriously lacking mental strength.

del potro vs kohlschreiber was suprisingly one sided, but li na vs aussie kim lived up to expectation.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by FOD(m): 6:06am On Jan 23, 2012
Serena, Ivanovic, Zheng have all been beaten in straight sets.

Murray is safely through to the QFs.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 6:45am On Jan 23, 2012
Tsonga out despite having a great first set.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by lafile(m): 8:38am On Jan 23, 2012
Quarter Final Pairings:
Thomas Berdych V Rafa Nadal
Juan Martin Del Potro V Roger Federer
Andy Murray V Kei Nishikori

Still awaiting the results from Djokovic/Hewitt and Gasquet/Ferrer.

Still cant believe the Japanese guy knocked out Tsonga. was tipping Tsonga to do great things this season. Never too late though. Is Del Potro about to repeat his feat from 3 yrs ago? He hasn't been the same since his injury, but isn't playing badly. But beating The Fed might be asking a tad too much. Would be interesting to see how Murray handles Nishikori. Wont place any bets on that one. I'll place bets on Nadal beating the inconsistent Berdych. Cant seem to warm up to the guy. Last Q4 pairing is definitely Djokovic v Ferrer. Cant wait for the fire in that match.

I like your analysis there.
Definitely there will be some great tennis for us to watch.

Nadal will surely have his hands full against the dangerous but inconsistent Berdych. It can get to 5 sets and at that point anything is possible. What fire will be in Ferrer v Djockovic match? At best Ferrer takes a set and no more. I can't wait for the Delpo vs GOAT match though.

Is anyone watching the battle between Hewwit and Djokovic happening now?
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by lafile(m): 3:48pm On Jan 23, 2012
@damas11111. I love the aggressive way David Ferrer plays. Like his itching for a fight.

Djokovic just beat Hewitt in 4 sets, while Gasquet lost to Ferrer in straight sets.

Its looking like a Semi Final of the top four again. Who's gon spoil the party? I tip Nishikori or Del Potro
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by jaybee3(m): 3:51pm On Jan 23, 2012
Murray has the easiest route to the SF
King Fed needs to bring his A game if he wants to reach the semis
Nadal needs to fight as usual and i'm sure he will be well tested by berdych
Nole might struggle to get past Ferrer
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by damas11111(m): 6:50pm On Jan 23, 2012
I side by Berdych to upset Nadal, I pick Fed over Delpo, Djockovic over Ferrer, Murray over Nishikori. Can't wait for the fireworks to start.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by fredoooooo: 10:34pm On Jan 23, 2012
the happiest person on this earth today over serenas lost is sharapova , she definately know that form or no form , Serena williams will kick her ass grin grin grin
ivanovi that one cant beat any top player again , what really happen to the girl .
Djokovic tennis nowadays makes other players trembles , but baba twins is the only one i think can take care of him , if the game didnt last 5 sets , otherwise djoker will beat baba twins on physical level o.
atleast now the games is getting more interesting most especially , the women draw keep open everyday , you can never put your money on any player , but i still think Kvitova and clijsters will win this , afer rena is out

Wozi has been eliminated in straight sets by Clijsters. Not surprising a bit though. Kim is a real fighter.

If you ask me, I'd say the Belgian just won her last aussie open, trust her to make mince meat of Victoria Azarenka,

It's Kim all the way

Yep. . . . he is in for hard, hard game. Hope he makes it; he is my favorite player on the tours at the moment!

Anyone watching the 2nd set here? cheesy
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by damas11111(m): 12:15pm On Jan 24, 2012
Nadal is too passive. Sorry dude, he doesn't deserve to win this one.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by damas11111(m): 12:17pm On Jan 24, 2012
I can't imagine a top player of Nadal status to be this passive. Standing up to 4 meters behind the base line to receive second serves of average speed of 140kph. What a shame!
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 12:19pm On Jan 24, 2012
If Berdych loses this match; he ll have himself to blame. He has been playing and serving so well; he could have sealed the 2nd set in that break.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 12:22pm On Jan 24, 2012
Yeah his 2nd set also has been lousy,  Imagine the break already in the 2nd game of this set.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 12:24pm On Jan 24, 2012
Ohhhh he has broken back! Most objective game played so far in this match

Inded. He has given back the break. Shame!
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 12:28pm On Jan 24, 2012
48% of 2nd serve points won wo'n't win him the game playing a player like Berdych
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 12:31pm On Jan 24, 2012
In smell a tiebreak in this set again but who it favours; i don't know?
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by damas11111(m): 12:39pm On Jan 24, 2012
Berdych level has dropped by about 10%.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by RuuDie(m): 12:55pm On Jan 24, 2012
Nadal doesn't seem to be moving freely enough for me. . . . .but Berdych, looks absolutely jaded!!!!
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Davidbanky(m): 1:00pm On Jan 24, 2012
Thomas berdych is proving to be tough for nadal at †ђξ monent,†ђξ game is over 3hrs now , M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ money is on nadal
