Spyder880, how many hollow blocks will be needed to fence around the 4 corners of two plots (120ftx120ft)to about 10 blocks high?
What size of blocks is used for fence, 9in or 6in?
What estimate of bags of cements and sand etc. will be needed? All the cost to complete the fencing..
If you can break it down in pieces, I will be very grateful. Thank you.

Which Oga? grin Na you be my main Oga o cheesy How business Sir?

This land is very strong, covered with gravel, I can get up to 10 trips of gravel by placing a sieve to separate the soil from the pebbles in this land. Because of this my engineers advised that we dig for only 18" deep. The boys are being paid N700 for each partition.

Oga Spyder, why you dey tease me now? Everyone knows that you've kept the flag flying high for your boys. Business is moving well and many thanks for your explanations. At least I can plan towards securing my plot with a dwarf fence round it.

the fence is growing

Re: Fence Building Section by spyder880(m): 5:08am On May 30, 2013
We ran out of materials yesterday, especially blocks. The owner of the land has been informed and we are expecting more supplies soon, but we are not going to work in this site today.

Re: Fence Building Section by spyder880(m): 10:57pm On Jun 04, 2013
We are getting blocks into this site in readiness for the continuation of this fence. We have only 150 blocks as at this evening and therefore we cannot start work tomorrow here. Meanwhile the gate is painted and ready for collection. We intend to complete the fence and then mount the gate this weekend.

and when the digging is done, we poured enough concrete to blind the base.

Re: Fence Building Section by spyder880(m): 10:56pm On Jun 09, 2013

My carpenters must work overtime to make sure the wooden casing is strong to bear the concrete.

Thanks for the update on this fence, Oga Spyder.
When you are finished with this fence, can you please give us the details
on the materials and cost fpr everything, like number of blocks, cement, etc.
I beleive this is one plot of 60x120ft? If not please correct me.
I want to fence a two plots of 60x120ft together (120x120ft), so you see why
I need to know the details and the cost. The last time I fenced another two
plots was in 2006, so I am sure things have changed since then. Thank you.
