There is a rumoured plan by Boko Haram to bomb the national headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress.

It was learnt that the sect, which claimed responsibility for the bombings that killed at least 186 persons in Kano on Friday, are aggrieved that the NLC acceded to the N97 pump price proposed by the government.

The threat was said to have been conveyed to the leadership of the NLC in a mail, which has been handed over to security operatives for investigation.

A source said the leadership of the NLC decided to report the matter to the security agencies to look into the issue because they did not want to make it an issue for public discourse.

Several calls to the President of the NLC, Mr. Abdluwahed Omar, the Acting General Secretary of the Congress, Mr. Owei Lakemfa, and the Head of Information and Publicity, Mr. Chris Uyot, indicated that their mobile telephone lines were either switched off or in areas outside of network coverage.

Efforts to speak to the two Vice-Presidents of the NLC, Mr. Isah Aremu and Mr. Promise Adewusi, were not successful as they did not pick the calls placed to their telephone lines.

What is boko ram's business with pump price. . . Except that the money they were making from smuggling our fuel across the border has been reduced. In fact, we need to take the price up to N141 asap.

If idiots like boko rams are in support of N65, we need to think again. Many Nigerians may have been unknowingly fighting a wrong battle.

It is people that view anything that Boko Haram says or does after all this carnage as worthy of any serious consideration that makes them feel they could be part of any national conversation.

The only message Boko Haram need to get from here on is that they will be destroyed.

At the former pump price , they paid less to fuel their vehicles used for operations, but they pay more now to carry their operations. I am not holding any brief for them.

Our subsidized fuel is smuggled across Africa. The Bok guys trade our "free" fuel for weapons. I told people there is more to all this than subsidy, but Nigerians feels "free" fuel is their birth right.

As for the Boko guys, they want to win some sympathy. What do you think about this headline, "Boko Haram fighting for the poor masses".

Only the informed will buy such a dummy.

“Our prophet told us, do not attack the innocent, women, children and the old, only fight back in self defence, this the teaching of our prophet and that’s exactly what we are doing,” he said.
He also said as untrue claims that they are going to attack protesters, saying it is false as they are in total support of the peoples’ struggle and behind the Nigerian people.

Cant you guys read this from a mile,

Its all a distraction,

They are planning something big and major, so they need to switch our focus on to somewhere else while they do the work the need to do simple

As a strategist,  one needs to think left right centre, sideways and all angles,

take it 4rm me,  its all to cause confusion/distraction,

Surely BH have some very smart elites at the head of their affairs,

Lets not be deceived,

The foot soldiers are the almajiris and suicide bombers,

The leg work is done by their intellects,

wake up NIGERIA

Don't mind those idiots and their sponsors. They are only trying to work up on the Nigerian psychologies to see reasons with their cause since when Nigerians have decided to wage war against boko boys. That definitely falls short of what MEND, EGBESU and the rest did,who eventually got public support.
If boko boys had been targeting ONLY government (senior)officials, senators and fuel marketers (CABALs feeding fat on subsidy),by now Nigerians will be CLAPPING for them and hailing SAI BABA, SAI BOKO HARAM.In fact some nigerian artiste might rushed to studio and waxed single tracks, addressing them as MESSIAHS.But alas, they've got it wrong and will never be in peace with Nigerians.
They should go and eat RAW poo.
Re: Boko Haram Threatens Nlc Over N97 Pump Price by noiseless: 12:06pm On Jan 25, 2012
Everyting in nigeria since over 4 decades has always been about oil and nothing but the free oil money, the hates, fake love, sweet talk, backstabbing, frame ups, demonising and discriminating against certain groups also the very shameful slogan of "owners of nigeria"and alot of scare mongering and smear campaign been cook up against certain groups of in this country has only one aim,to fasten the grip they have on the oil.So im not surprised at all that boko haram or it's supporters are interested or is showing interest in the oil, without oil in nigeria by today nigeria would have been just a thing one reads in history books.
Re: Boko Haram Threatens Nlc Over N97 Pump Price by maasoap(m): 12:26pm On Jan 25, 2012
Is this a new strategy by the the federal government to make her anti-people's policy of fuel subsidy removal sail through next time? Because I don't see any reason why BH should be preoccupied by fuel subsidy removal at this point in time when they're facing military crack down. When they didn't say anything before and during the protests. So, @efisher is even telling us that the alleged involvement of BH in the protests against fuel subsidy removal has made protests another man's battle. How illogical that statement was? Hope you're enjoying #97 per litre wherever you're, if you're in Nigeria? I hate pro-GEJ.
