In the strictest sense of the word 'celebrity' (i.e. A famous person), there is no African, living or dead, that is a bigger celebrity than Nelson Mandela. All the other movie/sports/music/political/crime/academic/religious, and general 'arts' celebrities pale into obscurity and irrelevance in comparison with the inimitable Madiba. |
