What is fun about attending a mono-sex secondary school? Mixed school is way better.

I prefer Mixed schools.

After school, the graduand won't meet the opposite sex and begin to feel like: OMG! so I could actually meet a man/woman.

If you get my drift, mixed schools prepare students to start facing the reality of life earlier than single schools. Students knowingly or unknowingly begin to adjust to the opposite sex while in school and as such will be ahead in living his/her life rather than trying to start making adjustments after school.

mixed skul is way better, sum pple dat attented single sexed skul dey find it hard to relate with their opposite sex, at tyms dey dnt have shame i.e dey tend to see every sex as d same wich is nt always gud, mixed is better anytime any day.

Mixed sex schools all the way. Advantages includes:

1. Better understanding of the opposite sex

2. Healthy Competition, imaging boys reading like hell just to make sure that a particular girl does not top the class. In single sex schools, who cares?

3. Reduction in sex urge cos you sees one another frequently except for those that are seriously possessed

I conducted a mini research study in 2007 on 8 girls that stayed around my hostel back then, I approached one of them, gave her a nice treat, infiltrated her heart just for research sake o (though unknowingly to her). I made her loose focus and then started a topic on Lesbianism, this made her visibly uncomfortable which i sensed but kept pushing she started confessing, and named all the girls involved countably 8 of them. Further investigations on how it started, led to generalizations that:

The fact that they all attended single sex secondary school provided the connectivity as they easily understood who was in and who was not in.

The absence of opposite sex around them gave the impetus to some girl to wanna behave like the opposite,

and so many more I can't remember now, I attended a Muslim mixed secondary school though am a christian, (DISCIPLINE was ever-present)

So From my opinion, mixed schools are the best,

Mixed school = unwanted pregnancy

Single sex schools = Homosexuals.

MY ANSWER= My girls can attend either, but my boys are definitely attending mixed schools.

Girls that attend single schools are more likely to turn flirts just immediately after graduation. Its a fact from exposure

Mixed.
It makes no sense to restrict your child's socialisation to just one gender.
They should mingle with both genders.

Mixed school all d way. I attended one and am ever gratful I did. It will expose you to interacting with the opposite sex confidently and it gives room for competition among d sexes. The rate of lesbianism and homosexuality are very minimal.

Single sex schools are breeding ground for same sex people, les and gay alike

I can never take my children to a single sex school.

Those who know Holy Rosary Secondary school in PH know that it is the home of hardcore lesbianism. I do not want to mention the all-male secondary schools and what goes on there.

Guys/Bebs that attended Single Sex schools usually turn out to be great achievers in life. They are goal-getters, very serious minded(look around and check statistics).

This to me out-ways all other disadvantages.

If only for the bolded part of your post, I would not send my kid to a single sex school. And their is/are no readily avaliable proven data on this subject matter, so where is this yous "statistics" coming from? Provide us with your source!

I went to a mixed school. Loved every minute of it. it was always a thing of pride walking out of the school bus with them chics at social event hosted by other schools;like Lit days, inter-house sports, football matches etc. ss schools will only hope to poach or get preyed on. back then we used to call them BONE TO BONE! Had a pal who transferred to a ss school. first thing he said when i asked him "how far with your new school?" was "I miss skizzers joor!" Lol!

Mixed schools has a lot of advantage over single sex schools in many ways than one.
1.  the pupils blend with people of same sex easil.
2.  the major reasons for single sex is for moral which sadly has disappeared as single sex school lead the pack in lesbianism and gayism.

Developed nations don pass the level of gay now na transsexual. I cannot imagine a child telling me that she is trapped in a female (wrong) body dre4 whats sex change - i.e. a male or female that feels they were born in the wrong gender. If u no com support am na abuse of human right.

I personally believe that mixed schools give student one of the best opportunities to be well- rounded in their development- particularly social development. It is a 'controlled' environment (hmmm!) where cross gender interaction can go on with the supervision of teachers or housemasters/ mistresses
