The key thing is to have a vibrant/competitive local league, with good managers at all levels, then everything else will start to fall in place.

Exactly. We need to upgrade our stadiums and infrastructure and put patriotic persons and not politicians into that glass house. We could use our soccer leagues and teams to dominate and bring in billions like England and Brazil. I'm sure some of that EPL money is maintaining hospitals in London and giving scholarships to Youths to learn how to neo-colonize Africans.

Does it occur to you that the team was put together by a foreign coach who the players respect; they are players who are discipline and do the simple things… But we have managers who want to line their own pockets, a manager who has failed with 2 different countries in Africa. Man management is a skill… it’s easy to manage local players so far you know how to manage the players. Guus Hiddink took South Korea to the Semi’s whereas Alberto Pereira failed to get Brazil past the quarter finals.
